MDRX05/BR Simon Cowell X Headphone (Black/Red)

After an initial break-in period, these Sony headphones are very pleasing indeed. They are accurate and have loads of bass that will surprise you. I've heard and owned 'phones that cost many times the Sony's price, and they don't come close to the Sony's pleasing sound!

I finally spent a little more on a pair of headphones and it was worth the extra cost. They feel better, they are soft and don’t hurt my ears with extended use. I think I’m more sensitive to this than other people so that was awesome. The sound is so much better and even though they don’t say so they really block out external noise. I’ve gotten noise canceling headphones before and the ones I got didn’t cancel a thing so this was a nice surprise. If your phone still lets use use plug I headphones I would recommend these.

WOW!!!!!! what a fantastic product. Listen I received these today and man are they good I just don't want to take them off. YES they are that good. I have had lots of headphones but these stand lone for quality and looks Everything is just amazing the sound the build the looks gee if looks could kill these will blow you away. I knew when I was waiting for them to arrive that I was going to get a good product but hey these are incredible for everything that is going for them. Simon Cowell has made a fantastic product with Sony collaboration BUY BUY BUY I must say to finish these are better than most other headphones that are twice the price BUY!!!! Update 8/11/2016 What can I say except BUY these bloody cans ....they are what heaven in the ears was meant to sound like BUY BUY BUY Up date have since bought another set of these Cans. simply the best

We purchased the MDRX05/BR last week as a gift for my nephew...I was able to use them for a few hours and was blown away with the quality, design, and especially the sound quality. The bass is astronomical! I have not idea how they can produce this kind of bass from such a small speaker. The mids and highs are PERFECT! I hated to see them leave. However, if I do order myself some headphones, it will be these Sony's. These are equal, if not better than the more expensive sets that I have listened to. You will not be disappointed.... They beat the pants off of the Beats!

These headphones are pretty good. Only problem is that they can get dirty quickly because of the white color. While the sound isn't as great as some of the other headphones out there, it's still pretty good considering the price. They cups do not go around your whole ear but because of how they are made it feels like they do. I have slept with these overnight with no problems or discomfort when waking up.

For the money, these Sony cans offer a fair value, but not great. They look good, have ample padding around the head band and sport well cushioned ear pads, which is key for on-ear phones. The X05 appears to be well made and is easily adjustable. Sound is decent, especially in the mid and lower registers. I use them for TV/movie watching and in that capacity they're certainly serviceable. But they're bulky (weighing in at one pound) and extended use can become tedious, especially if you're wearing glasses. This model is only available in red or white. Note of caution: Replacement ear pads for this model are essentially unavailable so be sure to keep them away from the dog.

I have bought these for my daughter twice. She used them for many years until they were well worn. She requested a new pair for her birthday.

I love these. I use these everyday (literally) and its been more than a year. They are my babies. The sound quality is the best. Still has a nice design. I don't like having the Sony brand on the side so it's really perfect. The red and black is also looks fantastic with the design. Some of my friends that I've let try it are astounded at how good it is. Unfortunately I use them so much that they have scratches on the right side but I'm even willing to buy a second pair.

Little use so far, but they are great!
