I am a theatre teacher and I have so many photos that I have to share often and quickly. I am always sitting here waiting to airdrop and upload to google drive for easier sharing. This iXflash has saved me hours. I literally just spent 5 minutes uploading 500 photos from a recent field trip to google drive. It took me a minute to understand that the back of the handy device is the USB connector to the computer. I took a picture and uploaded it here so you can see it! It is so fast and has so much storage for how small it is. This is a must-have for the technological and modern person. It's so convient and affordable. The app is easy to use and super helpful. It's like plugging an external hard drive into your phone and transferring big images and videos. I think I will even be able to record the full play on my phone directly on the iXflash. Seriously great purchase.

After lots of research I finally spent the money and bought the Piodata iXFlash 512. The user “manual” was useless so I called the manufacturer. This is the best customer service ever! We discovered there was a glitch between the interface and my iPhone. After a few conversations Friday night, I was assured that engineers would have this resolved by Monday morning. Got the call Monday that the software update was ready. It had installed automatically on my phone. I was walked through the best ways to use the device and it performs exactly as advertised. I recommended better written instructions and a user video. However, hats off to the team at Piodata in CA for outstanding customer service.

Do not waste your money. I used it and it was working perfectly until it said my phone battery was low. So I charged my phone to 100% and plugged it back in only for it to not work. I went in the app and it wouldn’t register the drive. No matter how many times I unplugged and replugged, it doesn’t work. I’m returning it. Don’t waste your time. The packaging also came damaged.

Could not be happier with my purchase of iXflash by Piodata. So so easy to use. Just downloaded the app and plugged it into my phone and done!! My prior iPhone died with all my photos lost. I was devastated. I am so happy now that all of my photos are safe and sound because of my iXflash. I’ll never loose another photo again. Love this company and appreciate that it’s all made in California! Thank you Piodata!!! Everyone needs a iXFlash now

Did not like having to add an app to my phone. Just when I was thinking it's a hassle to use it broke anyway.

Reasonably priced.

A perfect backup device for my iPhone. Also it allows me to playback movies and music. A VERY simple app interfaces with the device. This is the fifth I have purchased for me and family use.

This is a great usb flash drive which doubles as a lightning-compatible storage expansion solution for iPhones & iPads with lightning. It uses an app to interface with the device which offers rarely seen high end features such as high res audio playback. For the most part the experience is great, BUT, more so on iPhone, because the iPad experience leaves a little to be desired (such as no landscape mode currently supported which can be awkward, no between-apps drag & drop support, & no reliable FAT32 support. Fortunately, the developer is responsive & I have personally put forward various feature requests, but for now, it’s STILL the best option on the market (it works without taking your phone case off, unlike many others). DO NOT BUY the Sandisk iXpand. It may appear mainstream, but that means nothing since it is garbage. Buy this.
