Q1C1 9 CH-10Amp 12V DC PTC Fuse reset table Power supply box for security cameras by HQ-Cam

Greetings: this is my professional critique of the Q1C1 9 CH-10Amp 12V DC PTC Fuse reset table Power supply box for security cameras. Please find below my following observations:THE CONSNot as pictured.The cable interconnecting the Power LED on lid is poorly routed; it does not avoid pinch-points when closing lid. (I added a cable tie)There are no markings or labels anywhere on the chassis or inside that would identify the type, class, voltage/current ratings, UL, CSA, or any other identification as required for sales and distribution of this type of product within the United States.Documentation is non-existentWiring is merely solder-tinned, should be crimped if securing a wire end under the head of a screw.No individual user-selectable fusing or circuit control for power-cyclingTHE PROSIt's layout is smart; Vertical orientation of key components, it is a logical layout.It is well made, wiring is neatly routed and securely terminated (I know, I checked)OTHER COMMENTSAs pictured, shows use of terminal strips, Phoenix 254 connectors are used.With the power module on left-side and distribution buss to the right; It is more like the obsolete TopOne 9 Channel CH CCTV Security Camera Distribution PTC.RECOMMENDATIONSI don't know if the lack of labels on this one item was an oversight or not but I do know this; the use of the aforementioned labeling is required and mandatory for sales and distribution of this type of product in the United States: USE THEM in the futureA longer line cord would be nice too maybe about 1 1/2 to 2 m in length. Not everyone has an outlet close by.But I have to look at the overall picture on this device and see it for what it is; hey, it is what it is. The price is really hard to beat and it seems to work well. Overall, two sideways thumbs

This power supply works really well and I am very pleased with it.. I did make a repair to the power light that is on the out side of the box. The power wire to the light was broke off inside the case. I think the reason for this is because the power cord was loose in side the box moving around in shippment.

Being in the CCTV industry you can get a lot better for a little more money. The case is flimsy, the connectors are loose on the board, all in all NOT worth the money. Buy something else.

Has met all my expectations so far! Easy installation and commissioned with no difficulties to date. I have almost forgotten it is there until my UPS bleeps when there has been a power cut.

Worked as promised, picture looked smaller than what I received. Make sure you look at the measurements if you need a smaller unit.

I've had a number of these units and most are too small to conveniently wire. It's just dirty unit and works very well with my cameras.
