Perfect replacement
Worked exactly as expected -- seems identical to the original guard that the tracks came with. It was easy to install, but you have to go slowly, and it helps to have another set of hands to help.

Better than the dewalt replacement
I have a dewalt track saw and I tried using the dewalt replacement chip strip and they started coming unglued almost right away. Switched to the festool and I have never been happier. I just wish that the festool was 14 inches longer so I could replace both sides of my 59" and 46" track. This is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Better than the original.
I read with trepidation other reviews that states that the guard peeled. With that in mind, I ordered expecting the worst, and was pleasantly rewarded. I installed the guard on two fences, making sure the absolutely prepare the receiving surface like I was going in for open heart surgery. I used lacquer thinner, as I didn't have naptha on hand (the solvent suggested in the kit). Several weeks of active use later, they're solidly attached and not moving around at all. I don't leave my fences in a hot truck or in rough conditions. They're in a relatively cool shop, stored vertically on a nail, and I'm in a low humidity part of the West. I really like the clear compared to the OEM black. I'm also thrilled to get back the accuracy of the Festool TS55 with the new guards. Hope that helps in your choice of replacements.

What can I say. It is Festool so it is high quality and expensive. When you use the best it is easy to work in a production mood.

Staying attached
So far so good, my replacement strips are staying attached. I've learned to not store these in a hot trailer anymore.

Une fois l'ancien pare éclat retiré, la colle nettoyée à l'alcool isopropylique... s'adapte partaitement et l'adhésif est puissant (contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire en commentaires). Produit Festool original
