Knit elastic is looser than braided--you don't have to pull so hard to stretch it. If you want a gentle elastic, get this. I like it for the wrist of my dress sleeves. But I find it too loose of a hold for the elastic on the waist of my dress. Braided is better for that.

Used these as laces on my shoes. Made them slip on and look like regular laces. Way cheaper than the elastic laces I used to buy!

During the onset of covid I made750 masks. My first go around. Elastic, material, thread got scarse. But, this is great elastic. Easy to use. Not hard.

I ordered this while making my grand daughter some summer outfits, before the pandemic. Now I am using it to make home-made masks for my family and neighbors. Stores are running out of the elastic so mine arrived at a perfect time to help others.

Perfect for clothing and hair scrunchies. Not ideal for face masks. After an hour it chafes the ear and gets raw.

Worked for my fitted sheet project with the elastic foot on my serger. Will go into my sewing supply inventory for other projects.
