Self Watering Planter Modern Decorative Planter Pot (White)

I have a money tree plant that does not like to sit in water, so I thought this type of pot would be perfect. Water can just sit on the bottom just like an African Violet pot. But after filling it and putting my plant in I noticed it was constantly wet. So I emptied the water out of the bottom and decided to just let the plant dry out and just water when needed. So just use the bottom to contain any excess water so the plant is not sitting in the water. Works good. Like the size, color and style. Would be perfect for African Violet plants, so may purchase more.

Maybe it looks stylish from 20 feet away, but it looks very cheap up close. The top and the bottom pieces of plastic are made separately and fused together, so the line in the middle is very visible Though the plastic is super cheap, the woven pattern is pretty; I probably would have been fairly satisfied if not for that middle seam that ruins the look. I will be asking to return it. Not worth $15.99.

This is great for the smaller plants you have. I like to put plants that require more water than a succulent in these with succulent type dirt so I get less bugs inside. It tells you when they need to be watered and for me it averages to about 1x a week. This allows me to water all my plants at one time rather than keeping track of which ones need more/less water. Very functional and a beautiful design

Bought this one for my wife.She spent $2.00 on 2 bags of stone from dollar tree and $7.00 on 2 stems of artificial flower. And plus the pot . This is the look after she put all together. She loves the style for her flowers.

The price is modest, as are the materials and construction, but that's not the problem. To water the plant, you MUST add water to the top of the soil and let it filter down, or remove the inset pot, add water to the outside container and put the pot back. Not easy to do with a mature plant! THE PHOTO ILLUSTRATION SHOWS A CHANNEL NEXT TO THE WATER GUAGE THAT DOESN'T EXIST IN THE POT.

Love the look of the pots but all my plants are dying. Water gauge does not work properly. I have either too much water or not enough water. I emptied all pots and some had water and some not. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong since I purchased 15 of these pots.

I am unable to use this as advertised because the red water indicator got stuck in the tube upon installation. I attempted to do a return on 4/13 and was interrupted. I attempted today 4/15 and I could not do it because the return was only allowed until 4/14.

I bought it for an african violet which needs to get water from below. This planter lets you know when it is low but it is not easy to add water. You have to remove the plant portion to get water in..., there is nothing to grab you almost need a knife to lift the edge an then have to be careful not to tip it or damage the leaves. Would not recommend this for any plant!
