Storck Toffifee 48 pcs by Toffifee

Used to buy these under the name Toffifay. Even though the spelling is different now, they are still as delicious as I remember.

This is one of my favorite hazelnut chocolate treats so I buy them quite regularly. When I saw this extra large set (48 pcs vs 12, 15 or 24 pcs) I thought it was a great price and I’d not seen it anywhere in the US, so I bought it even with the shipping cost. I didn’t realize it would be shipped from Germany until I looked up the tracking. The shipping window was long, but it arrived much much faster than the expected delivery date (10 days earlier) so that part was amazing! It was in great shape and packaged well for its long journey. It wasn’t melted at all, but I wouldn’t buy it in the summer. So 5 stars for the seller! The box was labeled in German and even had a word search, in German, on the inside cover. Looney Tunes characters were also on the packaging which surprised me since in the US there’s never been extra stuff to the product, like character sponsorship or games. It felt more like how cold sugar cereals are commonly marketed in the US. The candy was great and what I expected, though it may have tasted a tiny bit different, but that could’ve been my imagination too. Bottom line it tasted great. I’d buy it again, except in my quick purchase I didn’t do my math correctly and it actually cost more with the shipping than getting it locally. My bad.

I saw these in a recipe and ordered them and never made the cookies. So I open them up and started nibbling on them. Delicious! A special treat. I’ll order them again.

These are pretty addictive and tasty. Carmel, Chocolate and a Hazelnut… What’s not to love. Only issue is they are too easy to eat… They are just as tasty as the ones my brother brought from Germany and seemed just as fresh.., If you know, you know… Enjoy!

This is a German product and the expiration date on the pack is a German date. In Germany, you write the day first, then the month and then the year. So if it says 01.12.23 on the pack, then that is 01.December 2023. On German products, this is also only the minimum best-before date, i.e. a recommendation. So to all of you out there calling the product expired, it was not expired at the time you received it. As the date on these packs, as already mentioned, show the German date. My product was very good, as we know it from Germany. Also the expiration date was still 5 months. I will always buy it here again and recommend it to others.

These are one of my favorite candies. And these arrived fast packaged well and taste it so good.!

The surface of the chocolate part was starting to turn color (white speckles). Toffee part was also starting to show aging. I ate them anyway. Texture was off some but they were good enough to eat.

The quality of Toffifee is always high in my opinion and has become a traditional Birthday and Christmas gift to my daughter. Unfortunately the price for the candy has risen so much the I think after the holiday it will be the end of the tradition.
