Backpacking hammock style
I purchased this backpack for backpacking in Wyoming and Montana. Some people are shy about its weight for what I was using it for. It kept me warm with frosty nights. It packs nice back in its compress sack. Deffinately worth the weight for comfort and safety! Deffinately recommended!

Great warm weather bag; it's narrow and slippery though
First, this is a warm weather bag, so pretty much only for summer. I've gotten down to the low 60s and been very comfortable on an insulated air mattress. I would probably use down to about 50.This bag is VERY slippery. I had to deflate my air mattress a smidge because I was sliding off of it. It's like that on the inside and outside.I'm pretty thin, and still had difficulty squeezing in it when zipped up. If you're a bigger person, you might have to use this as more of a blanket or comforter, and still bring a small sheet. For all the people who can't get it back into the compression sack, IT'S A STUFF SACK! You don't fold and roll it to get it back in there. Start with the bottom corner and stuff it in there, then quarter turn, and kept stuffing. It will all fit in there, I promise. If you can't get it all in there, you're not stuffing hard enough!Overall, I took a chance on a flash sale and got it for super cheap, but came away impressed. In the backpacking world, most times you get what you pay for and this is no exception, but if it lasts a couple seasons I will feel like I got a bargain. At the end of the day, I'm a real backpacker and gear guy. I actually paid for this bag, and I would buy another one.

Very roomy and warm at 32F
It has been tough for me to find a sleeping bag this wide. I hate being cramped and squished in them. But this one is roomy as heck. I'm 6ft 0in and 230lbs and I love this thing. It's a bit bulky for someone hiking and sticking this in your pack though. But luckily I have a 70 liter pack that it fits in a little snug. Would of loved to of gotten it into the sleeping bag compartment, but that just wasn't going to happen. I know a lot of people would pass this up for something lighter and smaller, but to me this is my luxury item that I must have.

Great bag. Just used it while hiking in Montana ...
Great bag. Just used it while hiking in Montana under very harsh conditions; rain, snow, 15 degree temp. and 60mph gusts. 4 nights endin 10/30/2016. Warm and dry. Love the head cover. Friends made a little fun with me about its weight in my pack but well worth it at 10,000 feet. Andy,

Nice sleeping bag
We got this for sleepovers and etc. We live in a place where we are unlikely to need a super warm sleeping bag. After a few uses I am quite impressed with it. It is super lightweight and it really does compress back into its small stuff sack without too much trouble. You can't roll it - you have to just stuff it in. I think it should work well for my kid for years to come.

Brutally honest
It was cold one night this fall so I crept in wearing only boxers and woke up sweating. Yeah... worth the hype

Stayed warm at 14 degrees F...
Warm sleeping bag. Tent camped in sub-freezing temperatures (14 degrees F.) for a weekend with the scouts. I used this bag in conjunction with a ground pad (Lightspeed Outdoors Warmth Series Self Inflating Sleep Camp Pad) and foil insulation under the pad (the foil / shipping air bubble insulation from a home improvement store). Our water bottles froze inside the tent, but we did not!

Great bag for hunting or car camping trip, Its big and warm.
Great car camping bag! I used this on a three month trip in the southwest in feb and march. There are many pros and I rarely found myself cold in temps that were in the 20-30f range if I was cold it was a late night doing photos and I was cold and wet before getting in.1 Very comfortable size, I am only 5'8 but a stout 220 and this bag gives me plenty of room to move around.2 Adaptable to warmer temps by not using mummy style or leaving baffle open.3 Its plenty long to throw a water bottle warm in to keep feet toasty or if you were 6 foot plus you would fit nicely.4 Easy movement to get at baffles and draw string for mummy it up5 comfortable against skin6 fluffs nicely for extra padding and extra length allows you to roll top for pillow if your not using as mummy.7 High loft great for hammock in campground I used underquilt and was toasty but I think with airpad and this you would be fine in 20f with wind easy.8 Price Such a great value!!! I don't have a problem spending money on good gear but why do it if you don't have to.There are some cons but I can't take a half off so it gets 5 instead of 4.5.1 Zipper sometimes catches baffle.2 I would like a shorter length availble to cut some weight and bulk, I would love to pack with this but just too big and heavy for a pack in trip. I did do a two mile and it did the job but in the dunes I felt all five pounds of this and my 5lbs tent weight. Not really a problem though as I bought this for car camping or hammock by vehicle.3 compression sack starting to rip a bit but I cinch it hard to get as compact as possible for space in car, so thats on me as well and I know I will have to replace with a better one and stuff sack on nearly every bag or blanket I have had I end up tearing.Overall the best bag I could find for the price and would buy another if this one got destroyed or burnt next to a fire.
