I am very pleased with the quality of this origami paper. It's surface is a delight to the fingers, smooth to the touch with beautifully finished designs. This is "double- sided paper" which means it had been dpped or dyed twice. One side has one of 12 detailed patterns, the other is a solid color. I feel like this adds more depth to my origami projects. The paper serves well for simple projects but is durable enough to accomplish advanced origami designs requiring many folks and manipulations. I've included a photo of a simple sailboat I made this morning as well as images of both sides of these designs. The price was right and the product is high quality. They even included a small pamphlet with some origami patterns. Highly recommend!

The paper is both slightly thin and moderately crisp. This makes it great for origami. When paper is on the thin side, you can fold it into multiple layers without it being too thick and unwieldy. The crispness helps it retain the folds (paper that is too soft, like construction paper, doesn't retain its folds). This paper has those two good qualities making it work very well for folding. And the patterns are interesting. They are bright and colorful, and the underside of the sheet is in a complementary color. For folding patterns where both sides of the paper are clear, this works VERY well. I'm very happy I bought this. You get a LOT of high-quality paper at a very good price.

I bought this pretty paper because I want to use it to teach kids origami in an after-school program. We’ve used plain, one colored paper, but I wanted to try something that may be easier to teach with, so this fit the bill. The print on one side is nice and the solid side compliments the colors well. In practice I found the paper to be sturdy, yet easy to fold. I’m not a seasoned origami artist, but I am really happy with the paper so far. It’s a great value too. I accidentally purchased two packages instead of one, but I decided to keep both because I think it’s beautiful and will be very popular.

This origami paper is really nice. It is close to a perfect square, especially for the price, but there was a little discrepancy. I like the patterns and that they alternatw in the package instead of being grouped, but the best is that the back side is solid color; the crane is not a demo for this as no back shows, but in shapes like the lily the second side helps highlight the peice. Sometimes I like to go really small so this paper almost seemed too big for something as simple for me as the crane. I shpuld have tried a lotus; those always tear. I have some both-sides-same-color paper and it is terrible for demos or beginners because everything just looks the same. Folding this it was heavy enough to hold a crease but not cracking with folds or pulling, really nice. Highly recommend. I taped the plastic to keep it from tearing more, so it would stay at half and help hold the papers together.

I love this paper, I'm not a professional in making origami but a few things I've noticed in this paper. I have bought multiple sets in different patterns and just wanted to give out a few things for someone looking to buy this paper to keep in mind. First off, the patterns are amazing but, sometimes the quality can look low on some of the patterns as some people have noticed, the other sets have this same issue that some patterns can look low quality, there's this one paper that looks like it had gold foil inlaid lines but someone just took a picture of it and it looks kind of weird, I think personally they should remove this pattern and add another pattern that looks better. Second thing is this paper is I guess "double-sided", the pattern isn't copied onto the other side, (personally doesn't really bother me but just in case if someone wanted to know) instead on the other side it's a solid color with no patterns. This applies to the other sets they sell. Lastly, the thing that kind of bothers me with this paper, it isn't a perfectly cut square. The other issues this paper has doesn't really bother me but this issue does. I love this paper but it can get in the way of folding and such. I had better luck folding sticky notes and not worrying about things not lining up well. It's the same issue with other sets and you can see it clearly that they vary in size even though the sets all say 6x6. Of course I can still fold a good crane that doesn't look bad. I'm not expecting godly quality paper or anything, I just wished they could've focused on making sure things are cut right. All in all, I would give this paper a 4 stars, I love the patterns and the colors of this paper, but 1 star off for the sizing issues. I would probably be returning here to purchase more paper but I'll also be on the look out for more brands who sell patterned paper. But, if you do decide to buy this paper as a beginner I think you would enjoy it and overlook the issues if you like patterned paper like this. Happy folding guys!

I really like this assortment of papers, the patterns are nice and the coordinating colors on the reverse match well. The patterns aren't quite as bright as the pictures but still lovely. The paper has an average thickness for origami paper, not the thinnest I've seen but not overly thick by any means, and it has a nice sheeny feel. One thing to note is that this paper is a full 6 inches square, rather than 15 cm (6 in and 15 cm are very close but not trivially different, despite most origami paper being marketed as both). While most origami paper I've ordered is really 15 cm, this package is a true 6 inches so is a smidge bigger. So far that hasn't affected combining it with other (15 cm) papers in modular models, but worth knowing.

Ich habe erst frisch mit Origami gestartet und brauche dementsprechend viel Papier zum üben. Das Papier selbst finde ich toll zum Falten, und die Muster sind super. Gerade das die andere Seite ohne Muster bedruckt ist hilft beim Falten sehr da durch das Muster die Falltungen manchmal nicht ganz so deutlich zu erkennen sind. Die Gefärbte Seite wiederum bietet je nach Origami einen tollen Kontrast. Siehe meiner Faltung von Yoda.

if you are at all serious about Origami you must buy Tuttle paper . i have just started to fold paper and initially i bought a different brand of paper , it was heavy and it wouldn't fold properly - i just thought i couldn't do it , that Origami wasn't for me . I bought a pack of Tuttle paper and the difference is incredible , lighter stock makes it so much easier to fold leaving really sharp results . i have realised that an important factor when folding is that the paper must be perfectly square - my first bought heavy paper wasn't !!!! Tuttle paper is perfect , designs are outstanding , i now have 5 different packs and i know i will buy more paper and it will all be from Tuttle
