Working with this high-quality silicone has been a truly enjoyable experience. The material is remarkably easy to mix, boasting excellent strength and flexibility. These attributes promise a final result that is not only durable, but also capable of withstanding repeated use as a mould. One of the most critical steps in the silicone pouring process is degassing. By carefully stirring the mixture and being mindful to avoid introducing excessive air bubbles, you can achieve a flawless finish for your mould. Before I poured the silicone, I took additional precautions to eliminate as many bubbles as possible. I applied rubbing alcohol, which effectively breaks the surface tension of the bubbles, causing them to burst more readily. Complementing this, I used a vibration pad to help dislodge any air that might be trapped within the mixture. Together, these techniques significantly reduced the amount of air that remained in the mixture, allowing me to create a solid, high-quality mould that I anticipate will serve me well for quite some time. Due to some pressing deadlines associated with my project, I also needed to expedite the curing process. I employed a few strategies to speed things along, ensuring that I could continue my work without excessive delays. The combination of high-quality material and thoughtful techniques resulted in a mould that I am confident will meet my needs.

This silicone is so easy to use, mix by quantity on a 1:1 and stir for about 2 minutes and it's ready to pour. After curing it's obviously tough and durable but flexible enough to work with. I'd suggest making a cut mold or a thin 2 part as it is very dense at the thicker parts. The level of detail it picks up is very impressive. Cheaper than a lot of other silicone products too.

I used 2 kg of this silicone in 2 deliveries. This product is truly easy to mix and use. The first mould I made, stayed sticky even after making several candles with it. I contacted the seller and they replied immediately and sent me a free replacement kit. The second delivery silicone worked great. I made at least 20 candles (cone shape) with it already and it still works perfectly fine. No residues and no stickiness. The difference on my side was that the first delivery silicone came in contact with air dry clay as I made the mould in two halves. The second delivery clay did only come in contact with my cone shape and some plastic bowl and it worked fine. Possibly this was the reason? Anyhow the seller was in permanent contact, friendly and very helpful. Thanks a lot.

The BBDINO Silicone Mould Making Kit in Sapphire Blue simplifies the mold-making process. The kit has a 1:1 volume ratio for mixing, making the base material is then very straightforward. As it is self-degassing, it better captures fine details. ~ The kit is suitable for crafting both 2-piece and 1-piece silicone moulds, and due to the inherent flexibility of the mixed silicon, the moulds can be reused multiple times. Using the kit was straightforward, although there were some basic items I needed to hand, such as a tray in which to create the mould. In conclusion, it is a relatively simple means of creating silicon moulds.

This product is truly easy to mix and use, this is why the 3 stars (at least it cures) HOWEVER it doesn’t worth the 4-5 stars as this is not for wax and air dry clay. It leaves residue on both material, especially wax. The higher the temperature, the more residue it will leave on wax. In the picture it is the wax I poured in 55 degree Celsius (which is consider low temperature for candle making) , you can see the residue it left on the wax. I already given this product a lot of chances by trying longer curing time for the mould and different temperature of wax, the outcome is still disastrous. It may be good for resin, ceramics or other materials (I haven’t tried that) but definitely not for wax. The manufacturer should not say it is suitable for wax because this is not true.

this silicone is a one to one mix ( easy ) use this to make some shallow moulds of various shapes of beads, diamonds and brooches, works really well but any deeper than 20mm is a problem to bend and remove item from mould as a different silicone is required for this depth eg a more pliable soft silicone. mixing in all silicone causes bubbles so just be patience and stir slowly then pour from as high as you can to create a very fine pour will help reduce bubbles . got some very fine detail from this silicone very happy.

Es muy fácil de usar. Solo recomiendo usar la proporción por peso en lugar de volumen. Da muy buenos resultados. Tengo 5 meses con los moldes y guardándolos como lo indica (lugar fresco sin luz directa) siguen en perfectas condiciones

Made my first ever molds immediately after receiving this. And its perfect. It was very easy it sets up and cures fast. Theres decent instructions, its very strong and firm this one but i guess theres different types and colors.
