HAZARD 4 HardPoint(R) Modular Tie-Down System Parts: Kit #1

I was nervous about this accessory after reading so many disappointed reviews stating not enough hardware to mount or not fitting snug. There were no instructions or images on this amazon page to show what it should look like. After google searching Hazard 4 packs I did some digging and finally found some images showing how it properly mounts to the pack. You use both attachments at the same mounting location. One inside and one outside, therefore only 2 screws and two nuts are needed. It seems a bit pricey as it would cost $60 to fully equip with all 6 attachment points.

They are a little less rigid than I thought they’d be but are not for securing heavy items. Good for lighter applications. Can’t go wrong with hazard4

Overall, I'm happy with this kit. The HardPoint system is a clever way to add modular attachment points to gear without making permanent modifications, and the hardware feels durable and well-made. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, everything feels secure. My only complaint is with the rubber backing. When installed, the rubber tends to fold or bunch up slightly around the mounting hardware instead of laying completely flat. It doesn't seem to affect the function or security of the mount, but it does make the finished installation look a little less clean and polished than I was expecting. Functionally, it performs exactly as intended, and I'd still recommend it to anyone already invested in the HAZARD 4 ecosystem or looking for a reliable tie-down solution. If the rubber component were a bit stiffer or better shaped to stay flat during installation, this would easily be a five-star product.

Meh... Dont bother with this. I would have been just as satisfied with a paracord loop (and I might still go that route). This "hardpoint" should be called "softpoint" as it is made of a soft rubber-like material. I had a hell of a time tightening the screws because the tension would twist the hell out of the "hard" point.. Hazard4 makes an AWESOME bag. My PlanB-2017 is hands down my favorite tac bag... But this hardpoint was a waste of money. Not poor quality, but it could've been 100x better. I had planned to hang a kevlar hekmet from this hardpoint, but I doubt it'll take the weight for long.

Purchased this item for my Hazard 4 Bandoleer. Great option. The only thing I would change is the length of the bolts provided as they are a little long and may damage items within the bag.

Total garbage. Don't waste your money. Way too soft and flexible to do the job properly. Could get at least the same results with .75 of braided paracord, and most likely get the job done right. For this expensive add-on to be worth it, and to actually get the job done it's advertised for, it would literally need to be 8x stiffer.

I may not have used this in the traditional manner but I really like the item. The holes match up perfectly on my Izula sheath so I mounted it through those holes to my backpack sling (see pictures).

Non ho ben capito a cosa serve. L’ho preso per sigillare i due buchi del guscio duro di un Hazard 4 Freelance. In effetti l’unico modo per chiudere tali buchi è spendere una barca di soldi per acquistare ‘sti due pezzetti di plastica e relative viti con copriviti... Lo zaino/borsa fotografica è fantastico, ma costa un botto come anche tutti gli accessori acquistabili a parte. Mai trovato nulla di simile a questo monospalla fotografico, come ergonomia, ma ti sega il conti in banca. Comunque se lo perdessi lo ricomprerei... il mercato non offre altro del genere.

I bought this to block the hole into the bag so snow does not come in!

Using it for carabiners to hang off my camera bag easy to install.
