I like these because you can control the dose by taking 1-3 tabs. They work great and fairly fast. I’m on two medications that contribute to constipation so these are great to have on hand when I haven’t reached my fiber intake or hydration levels. Just be sure to drink plenty of water and electrolytes before, during and after because laxatives can be hard on the body. Additionally, dehydration is also the primary culprit for constipation. TMI (my experience): when I took these for the first time I assumed they wouldn’t be strong so I took 3 tablets. Boy was I wrong. They worked a little too well, and within 5-6 hours. But consider that everyone is different so individual results can vary. You’ll want to be sure to first take 1-2 before moving forward with highest dose to see how your body responds. I think if it’s an urgent need then you can decide if you need to take 2-3 but don’t go over the recommended amount. The directions for use are pretty clear and simple.
