Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia Marco Polo Map (Marco Polo Maps) Map – Folded Map, March 12, 2012

I knew this map was huge and tough to separate the countries. I took and outlined all the countries that suited my needs. You could probably travel with this if you fold it to the country if your choice. Also note, that most cities, if not all, are labeled in their respective names that are unfamiliar to Americans. This map is huge! Unfolded it's about 3'x4'. Perfect for what I needed it for. I tacked it up on the wall to plan a trip. I don't think I'll take it with me when I go as it is just too big to be functional. It's very detailed, and has good info on top places to visit. My only other complaint is its hard to distinguish the national borders on this map (I outlined the countries with black marker so problem solved). Overall it's great for what I'm using it for.

As a professional travel writer, I bought this map for our SE Asia tour of several countries covered by this map. I wouldn't buy it again. My main issue is the poor way it shows borders between the countries. I had to spend a half hour with a highlighter carefully tracing the lines so I could actually see where the various countries' boundaries were, and even then I wasn't sure I did it correctly. Also, I found the names of the countries not clear enough. The map is so large that it's quite awkward to use--I realize that it has to show a lot of geography on the one map, so I'm not sure what the solution is, other than to break it into two different maps, or just make everything a bit smaller, but it is a beast to unfold and re-fold.

This is a planning map, not one that you would take on a driving trip. I bought it to be able to see where we wanted to go; check out general distances; find cities that we were visiting or cities that friends suggested we visit. I thought the detail was good and it gave me a good general overview of the 4 countries. I recommend it as a planning map.

This map is impressively detailed, though it may be too large to conveniently use while traveling. Unfortunately country border markings are so similar to regional ones that it's difficult to see outlines of countries in a glance. I carefully went over country borders with a fine felt-tipped marker and it made a big difference.

Wonderful map!I purchased it so that I would be able to chart my son's backpacking travells throuhout south East Asia.Of all the out of the way places he visited only one tiny location was not named on the map. I was, however, able to get a very close approximation from searching small communities nearby.

This is more than a map. I’m very pleased. It’s almost like a pop out book. This is most useful to me, I highly recommend if u are looking for more than a boring tourist map

This is a VERY BIG map. I wanted it for a cruise to Thailand and Vietnam. Since it was so big i stuck it on the cruise cabin wall with magnets, and could follow our route on the map. It was fantastic!

Ideal if you are looking for a very large scale map of Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia this will serve your needs, however, if you are planning a road trip around the United States, this will not be of much use to you.

Good product but unfortunately delivered by Evri. Delivery driver great but Evri have awful customer service, you cannot contact them.

It's a good detailed map however I didn't realise how big it was!It was fiddly to open up due to its size.I do like it though

Very good quality map, but is to small for what it covers, you need a magnifying glass to read it outdoors, You would be better to buy a map for each country
