With all the layering of products these days it's nice to have a lightweight, thinner, but highly effective daytime moisturizer. I have extremely sensitive skin; this product is unscented and did not cause any breakouts for me. While it is on the runny side, I find it dispenses much like a slightly thicker milky toner/moisturizer, which I believe is exactly what it's intended to be. Other reviewers didn't like the hole-top dispenser, but if you treat it like a milky toner and sprinkle it into the cupped palm of your hand it dispenses just fine and the top is an inverse conical shape leading to the hole opening so whatever is left on the top goes back into the bottle via gravity. I decided to try this product because I follow the creator on YouTube (a licensed dermatologist with stunning skin!) and really love her unbiased reviews, tips and pointers on a vast array of skincare products. Even though she has her own product line (Prequel) she unbiasedly reviews many beauty products, a few of which I use that are not her brand. This has no scent and I think is a good value for the money, you don't need much, a little goes a long way and the bottle is a decent size. My 60 year old skin is soft, moisturized and glowing after I apply this "half and half" and stays moisturized all day. I plan to continue using this in place of my previous daytime moisturizer as it allows me to skip the toner--I get two products for the price of one, a win-win in my book.

Brilliant. Amazing light fluid that absorbs well and works. If I use at night my skin feels amazing in the AM. Also great under makeup. Huge bottle, great value. I am loving the light texture of this half-and-half moisturizer. I use it at night after washing my face. It feels so good! It is not heavy or greasy. It soaks into my skin and almost disappears. I use it before the Prequel Retinal serum, and I think this helps my skin not react to the retinal as much. It's dead winter right now and this is making my skin feel really great! The container is huge, and the price is reasonable. I am loving all my Prequel products so much!

I’ve been using the Prequel Half & Half Fluid Moisturizer for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. The texture is incredibly lightweight — almost milky — but it delivers serious hydration without feeling greasy or heavy. — What really stands out is how soft and balanced my skin feels. The formula with ceramides, peptides, and amino acids seems to support my skin barrier, and I’ve noticed less dryness and irritation overall. It layers beautifully under sunscreen and makeup without pilling, and it also works great as a hydrating step before a thicker moisturizer when my skin needs extra support. It’s winter now and I’d give it 10 stars if I could! Just buy it.ᥫ᭡

I am so oily, I could donate my facial oils, but my skin loves this product. I am already on my second bottle and will be purchasing many more. I use it before I apply my makeup and let me tell you, my skin look so perfectly good, airbrushed like. Absolutely does not interfere with my makeup or my facial oils, not even after a full day. I have never ever encounter such a great moisturizer. Please never stop making this. I tried so many moisturizers in my life, but this one is the first one that does makes my skin truly hydrated without 5 additional steps. It is such a perfect balance between hydration, healthy and great looking skin. It is thinner texture, which I love, but thicker than a water. Smoothes my pores, absorbs, but does not totally disappear… Does not sit on the top of the skin either. It is simply perfect, love, recommend and will be here for more! One little thing I’d improve is packaging - lid gets buildup cream over time, which needs to be wiped frequently, it is not a huge problem, but does not look great either. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product that I have zero desire to try something else!

Overall, it’s a great hybrid product between a milky toner and a lightweight moisturizer! Its really easy to apply, leaves a nice finish, and overall a decent add-on for additional winter moisture. However, the smell… it’s fragrance-free, but it kinda smells a bit plastic-y and almost smoky? I want to love this more, but the scent is a little off-putting to wear on my face every day. I’ll probably just use this on my body instead.

I love this stuff. I can't really use anything on my face and everything, even below the nose, burns my eyes. I love thi stuff. It leaves a dewy finish which is perfect for accepting sunscreen under make up. I am not sure why everyone says it's so "lightweight" I guess they mean the product itself which is slightly thicker than a toner but the moisturizing is not "light". I have extremely dry skin and if I use this twice a day it literally stays dewy on my skin all night. If I'm having a very dry day I let it soak in and then apply another layer. I love this stuff. I will never be without it and like I said I really can't get along with anything on my skin. By the way it softened up all my laugh lines so much in just a few days I must have been really dehydrated there. Also leaves my mouth area feeling really nice for applying lip products over it. I am going to purchase many more Prequel products because this is product is such a great endorsement for the whole line. By the way the packaging is beautiful. It feels like velvet, the bottle is just the right size to feel great in the hand and it looks really clean and modern on the sink. So it's even giving the "experience". Including how you tip it over and let it drip into the palm of your hand. Four to five drops covers my whole face and part of my neck. It lasts forever. I started using it twice a day two months ago and I haven't used more than 10 to 15% of it. I can't believe the price for this! They can't be making money; I don't know how they do it.
