NotCo White Cheddar Style Plant Based Mac & Cheese, 6 oz Box

This plant based mac and cheese is so good. I've tried a lot of mac and cheese substitutes over the years, and most of them don't taste great. I think this one is really good. It's a white cheddar version, so it doesn't taste like the way I remember the original Kraft mac and cheese tasting, but it is yummy. I made it using lactose-free, but not non-dairy products, but it can be made using whatever type of non-dairy milk and butter you are comfortable with. If you make it using a non-dairy milk that is sweet, you may not like the taste as much. I saw a couple reviews complaining about the price. I personally think it is very reasonable for a plant based, no dairy product that works for vegans, lactose-free and dairy free diets. Most of the time any specialty foods are much more expensive. As someone who hasn't had the original Kraft mac and cheese for years, it was a fun treat!

We LOVE this Mac+cheese!! Our daughter has a severe allergy to milk, and this is an amazing alternative. Even our 4 year old son (with no allergies) doesn't mind to eat this instead of regular. Yes it does have a different taste than regular Mac+cheese, but the sauce has a similar texture so meets the craving. 🙂 We've tried several other vegan option, and this is by far the best one we've found. We appreciate that it's affordable and safe for our girl and are grateful Kraft meets the dietary need while maintaining high quality!

This is my favorite vegan mac and cheese. It tastes just like the original that I used to eat as kid. If you don't people it's vegan, they cannot tell the difference. Recommend using a decent vegan butter (Earth Balance/I Can't Believe It's Vegan/Miyokos) and unsweetened Almond/Oat/Soy/Cashew milk for the best flavor consistency. You can use Coconut milk, but the consistency will not be as rich as Coconut milk is much thinner. Almond, Oat, or Soy (unflavored, unsweetened) brings out the cheese flavor best. Cashew milk may make it taste a little nutty. Overall, better than any other brand of vegan mac and cheese I have tried.

We were really excited to finally try the Kraft / Not Milk partnership vegan Mac and Cheese product line. The Original flavor definitely tastes good and had a great cheesy texture, but it was definitely a bit sweeter and had a slight after taste. The White Cheddar on the other hand had a much more pleasant and less sweet flavor than the original. Texture wise these were both 5 star, but even though they were very good and close to the original Kraft versions, I have had a couple better tasting (and healthier) vegan boxed Mac and Cheese (Modern Table, please make a return!!!). With that said I would definitely buy these again, but I would also say I have to be in the mood for these ones and I hope they look into improving the flavors. Also of note these boxes were only 6 oz. which is a little disappointing considering the price point and it's not like this product is organic or made of high price ingredients. Please make more interesting vegan flavor options and make these boxes equivalent to the original sizes.

I don't usually grab this brand, but I was pleasantly surprised. I added kimchi and hot sauce and it was creamy and delicious
