Great cooling racks. A lot easier to wash clean than the normal grate-style cooling racks

This rack is great for cooking bacon or roasting vegetables in the oven. Another reviewer (Dave B.) has given a one star rating and complained the rack warped from heat. He stated he pre-heated his oven to 350°F and then put the rack with bacon inside. If the rack and bacon were cool/room temperature when going into the already hot oven, I would expect the metal to react to such a quick temperature shock. However, I don’t find that a fault of the product, but of cooking technique. Sorry, Dave. I find the bacon cooks best (stays flat/doesn’t shrink) and doesn’t stick if it goes into a cold oven that then comes up to temperature. My rack has never warped even cooking at 425°F for an extended time. If you read this review, Dave, please try again starting with a cold oven. This rack is easy to hand-wash and stores neatly inside my sheet pan. I give this 5-stars. I would prefer it were made from dishwasher-safe USA stainless steel, but will accept made in the USA aluminum without complaint over using a wire rack.

Nordic Ware is just the best. This thing makes baking a breeze and is 1000x easier to clean than a regular wire rack. I put it to the test with a sheet pan full of chicken thighs and it did a fantastic job and then was clean in under 2 minutes. It fits neatly into a cookie sheet (the largest size from the three-pack they also sell, which I too highly recommend) and makes storage seamless and use in combination with a cookie sheet just fantastic. Way too often have I purchased cheap, flimsy products that I would have to toss a year later because they weren’t even good enough to donate to Goodwill anymore! Anyone want rusty cookware that bends when it gets hot? Yeah I don’t think so. On top of that, Nordic Ware has a lifetime warranty! They know their products are great and they guarantee it. And oftentimes prices for products like that are prohibitive, but not in this case. Bottom line is - I could not recommend this more. Looks a lot nicer than the alternative options out there. And big bonus is that it’s made in the US (Minneapolis to be exact, and yes I looked into them, that’s how much I like their products!)

I like this much better than the wire racks that came with my sheet pans for cooking meat. It cooks well and is much easier to clean. Great for things that might fall through a wire rack.

Works as stated. One items was bent and needed to be straightened.

Great for oven hamburgers (has the right surface for something like this), and I'm sure I'll use it for more crisping things in the future. It is indeed sturdy, I always give Nordic Ware my money- when they show me something I am looking for, I stop looking. Not too heavy, doesn't warp or anything like that, perfect size for the average half-sheet pan, and a good deal for sure.

Ordered to replace a dead and peeling french fry crisping pan which appears to no longer be available at a reasonable price. Arrived safely, looks solid. good build quality. have yet to use it yet though. will update once I start using it. Nordic ware make great stuff, typically and I expect it will be great.
