This really is, a Great Phone
It's been a while since I wrote an Amazon review. I thought I would make the effort in this case as I really just can't get over how good this phone is. After perusing all the cheapy phones I decided to order this one as it had very decent specs for the price. After ordering I thought it would be a good idea to watch some YouTube videos, I know that seems daft but if I did it the other way round I would never be able to make my mind up. There was only one video where the person actually talks, and he turns the phone on and it looks kind of sluggish, and slow. My phone did this when I first switched it on too, however after everything had downloaded and I had updated everything, I can happily say the phone is running nice and fast, after changing some settings the phone works perfectly, please see bellow. Important! There was a worrisome moment when I thought there was no way to navigate through the phone, as there were no buttons on the screen, turns out the phone comes factory set with gestures as the main way to navigate the phone, this may be a common function on phones nowadays but I'm not used to it I actually disabled that function in my last phone the first day I got it. Easily fixe in the settings. There are a couple of other nit pics but they can all be sorted out in the settings. Oh, there's a couple of things that you will need to turn on which I at least, took for granted would be done automatically, like when you sign into your wifi, if you go out of range and it disconnects, your phone won't automatically sign into the wifi when you get back into range, you need to change that in the settings too. After the phone was all set up I am delighted with it. I tend to have a phone for years before upgrading, I'm only upgrading this time as my last phone took a swan dive into the bath with me, for it's third and, unfortunately final swim :( It was a Moto X Style, which was a really high end phone in it's day and she will be sadly missed. This Note 14 though, has made the transition a painless one :) I tend to go on quite a bit in my reviews on Amazon, but it's because if you are like me. you read the reviews when deciding if you are going to buy something. I really appreciate a decent review written by an actual human :) Yeah, if you are reading this review looking for a new phone, you should definitely get this phone, you will be chuffed to bits. PS, they have already fitted a screen protector to the phone , and provided a wee phone cover too, I man, that's just great bloomin customer service

Windows to Android
I have always been a Nokia user with a Windows operating system, and I am no technical expert, so the change over to Android system was a bit of a shock, but in a nice way, as I was able to do so much more with it. I mainly use my phone for business emails and keeping up to date with news whilst travelling, and the response speed of the phone is certainly fast. The next day delivery via my prime account was so efficient, particularly as I needed to have the phone before an overseas trip. The first thing noticable, was that the phone had arrived with the battery already fully charged! So I was able start setting up the new phone immediately. A nice touch. Although a larger phone that what I am used to, it is nice and light to handle, the screen size is good for reading emails easily and following news updates etc. So, I can see the attraction for those who want to run games or watch movies. I particulary liked the sim card slot that could be accessed without dismantling the phone to get to your sim card. I also liked 'Easy Launcher' as it produces a screen of windows for most important items, such as contacts, settings, photos, camera etc, which are so much easier to use ( well for me anyhow being used to windows phone) than the various screen buttons on Android phones. I initially had some issues with my Tesco Sim card and access to the internet, but the supply company Trade U Tech service dept were very helpful with advice and guided me though the process to sort the Sim card hiccup. So good back up for owners of this phone. For me, with a price of under £100, the Note 14 is certainly a great budget phone, with lots of goodies, more of which I am sure I shall discover over the coming months. Update 21.11.22 : For the past week, I have been discovering all the delights of this phone. Transferring across my apps and personal stuff with so easy, and I was surprised that my Bluetooth earpiece for my Windows phone was picked up instantly by the phone. So I have added an extra star.

Great value for basics, but not photos
Nice phone. I wanted to see what I'd get for my money if I didn't get a Samsung flagship phone and it's not bad!!! It's got good usability, it's responsive and is running latest Android. So it's more than enough for everyday email browsing etc. On the minus side the Camera is poor and photos are grainy. battery life can be poor depending on usage... Speaker or headphones drain it though bluetooth headphones are fine. GREAT value if you need a phone. But not for photos.

Won't last long before things start going wrong.
I've had this phone for 4 month now. I'm really pleased with it. For the price it's a brilliant phone. It has enough storage to hold all the apps that I need it too. Overall it's a great phone. The camera isn't amazing but it's not terrible and for the price i wouldn't expect any better than this one provides. The only issue I have is the volume isn't very loud but I have a little difficulty hearing anyway so may not be an issue for others. I cant comment on the face recognition as I don't use it. Overall I like the phone and it's features. I just wanted to update. It's now July I have had the phone since January. And it no longer holds its charge at all. It goes down 1% a second even when not in use. I didn't have high expectations but I'm abit annoyed that I didn't even get 12 months use out of the phone. It now also keeps turning its self off and going to a black screen while music or phone calls will continue. Very disappointed that it hit the 6 month mark and has continued to go down hill with various issues

Great value for money
I bought this phone as a secondary device for work purposes because I didn’t want to spend too much on a big-brand phone. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much given the low price, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it’s been running very smoothly. It handles everyday tasks like calls, texts, emails, and even light app usage The camera is actually quite decent ,for casual photos and video calls, it does the job perfectly well. The build quality feels solid, and the phone doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. Overall, for just over £100, this phone offers incredible value. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable budget device—whether as a backup phone, a work phone, or even a primary phone if you don’t need high-end specs. Highly recommended!

No-thrills Phone
In comparison to my other current phones (Google Pixel Pro 7 and Samsung A50) this is a simple phone on Android. That is not to say this Ulefone Note 14 is a bad phone, as it does tick my needs for its intended use. For me, the main purpose will be for this to act as a holiday phone, given the price, it will be the one I can afford to lose if something unfortunate happens. I've never heard of Ulefone and I took some time before making this purchase, as I was a bit dubious about the brand. Everything works fine and the phone charges well. The camera is ok for the price paid, with patience using the focus, you can get some simple shots, although they don't compare well against my other two phones - probably an unfair comparison. I really do love the fact that the phone comes with a screen protector and a transparent phone cover to protect the back of the device. Saves me time and money having to search for items like these, while improving my opinion regarding Ulefone's value/service. I was very tempted to buy an Ulefone Armor, but opted for this based on the budget price and potential loss when abroad. In my opinion, if you are looking for a phone roughly under £90, I think this phone is sufficient for all simple needs. If camera quality is really the be-all-and-end-all , then maybe, just maybe look at one of their higher spec models.

Decent, yet annoying.
I bought this phone as a replacement for my slightly old and cracked Huawei P20 Mate. I chose it because the specs seemed to be only a slight downgrade, the price seemed very reasonable and the cameras promised to be an upgrade. However I have had a lot of difficulty justifying my purchase after receiving the item. Installation was easy: Having a simple clip-on rear cover to access the sim card and micro SD card ports was very convenient compared to the Huawei's paper-clip access slot (which failed and I had to resort to damaging my previous phone to swap my cards into this one) However after transferring all of my data across and setting up, I realised that my mobile data wasn't working. I assume this is because my vodafone sim required setup settings, but do not list Ulefone in their list of compatible phones and therefore I was unable to download them. I have managed to manually set my Vodafone APN, however at random it will decide to not activate mobile data and I have to restart the device in order for it to work again. Another major issue I have with the device is the camera. You would have thought that with 3 cameras, quality and detail levels of pictures would be good at any zoom level, however the camera has massive issues with anything besides high light levels such as outside day time. If you attempt to take a picture or video indoors, even with the lights on, it seemingly starts suffering from low framerate problems and blurs the entire picture at any slight movement, even for objects in direct light. Taking videos is much the same, but watching video playback on Youtube, for instance, is actually very good and the screen is perfectly clear, with the minuscule notch at the top barely intruding at full screen. Audio quality from the built-in speaker is about average. Acceptably clear and decent volume, but not amazing either. The fingerprint reader and face recognition software are OK at best, although the finger print scanner frequently requires me to attempt 5 or 6 times until it's happy. The facial recognition software seemingly works better in high light areas, however I have had it work in near darkness at random. Besides these issues, the phone is functionally sound and the battery life has been very respectable so far. It has been about 60 hours since I last charged it to 100% and is currently on 50%, after some daily light use checking Twitter and Facebook, testing features and watching a few videos on Youtube, with the Wi-Fi on 100% of the time. Overall, if it hadn't been for the mentioned problems and hiccups then I would absolutely recommend this phone.

Best iteam i buy
The phone has a large screen with good, sharp resolution and colours, easy to set up. Comes with assistance in setting up your phone using an old phone or an iPad. Generally good value for money. One of the features is the strength of the phone, I have not yet tried to break it but it does seem pretty rugged to me. I use the phone in speaker mode most of the time, being deaf, it would be great if it were possible to answer the phone using speaker mode.
