I use it when strapping a thermistor with copper exterior to a copper pipe. It can be a bit messy, but otherwise seems good. I haven't tried a comparison with two thermistors on the same pipe, one with and one without the thermal paste. So I can't be certain it is helping to get a more accurate reading of the water flowing in the pipe.

Cpu temps are only 1-2 degrees off of what they were before when using more expensive paste. Overall a great value!

Very happy with product and purchase

I'm not quite sure how I stumbled upon this stuff. But I'm sure glad I did! Because it's unquestionably THE BEST thermal compound/grease I've ever used. By quite a margin as well. I've been a long time fan of Antec 7. And just the plain old Antec white stuff for a long time before that(which works just as good as their Formula 7 BTW, but less blingy, of course). So those are, excuse me, were my "go to" products. However, I've also used another top contender recently too, ARCTIC MX-4. Which came pre-applied on the ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme IV I bought last month. It seemed to be some really good stuff too(as good or better than what I'd been using for the last 10+ years). In fact, I would have also considered using it again. Possibly as my new favorite TIM. Then I tried Cool Silver G4. And all I can say now is...COOL SILVER FTW!!! I won't be using anything but from now on(or until Cool Silver G5 comes out). And I highly recommend to anyone else to be doing the same. It's the real deal. No hype. No bull. It will outperform anything you've ever used before. Guaranteed!
