Lesson learned. You need to go with Deere products. Used a cheaper replacement and found it lacking. This belt was a good fit, less vibration and noise, and has already doubled the wear time of the cheap replacement. Definitely worth it.

Bought this belt for my LA120. This seller had the best price for this belt. John Deere belts last longer than any aftermarket kevlar belts. This belt is specifically made to John Deere standards by John Deere. I've tried every aftermarket belt out there and this is the one that lasts the longest. It costs more than the cheaper ones, but it will last much longer.

Price has increased by $10.00 in two years but these work better than others I've tried for my LA105 mower. I have about 250 hours on my 10 year old mower and have gone through several. I am happy to have a reliable source for belts that (I guess) have a relative and reasonable lifetime. I suspect frequent belt issues are caused more by worn pullys, bearings, mis-alignments etc. than belt quality. If you can, write a comment below to include your make of mower and about how many estimated mowing hours the belt lasts before it breaks. Although there are a lot of variables that go into this but the info may help others.

Original equipment is always better. Bought a after market and it lasted about 10 mows.

If anyone has ever tried replacing a John Deere lawn tractor deck drive belt, then you all know that the only belt that actually ever works and will last more than a few hours is an OEM John Deere belt. And you also know that most every local mower/tractor repair shop is not an approved JD dealer, so all their replacement parts, including belts are from aftermarket suppliers. Which means you need to drive who know how far to locate an OEM JD dealer. Well, this is, in fact, an OEM JD deck drive belt that fits and wears like it should. OEM JD stuff is not cheap, but having at least a dozen non OEM belts hanging in my shed that didnt work, they are worth the price if they last and don't wear out in a few hours time. With all the crazy stuff John Deere is up to recently, I hope Amazon can keep supplying these belts for years to come. It's nice to have a part that works that I don't need to take an entire day to drive almst a hundred miles to get. Thank You Amazon.

Highly recommend, this belt is Brilliant, I have learned my lesson not to but cheap alternatives because I tried that and the cheaper belt snapped after a week. The original John Deere part is far superior and has been on the mower for weeks now without any issues. You get what you pay for.
