great ssd
Great ssd very fast, temps are good 41 to 50 c. also stable. I did add a thermal pad

The best Samsung drive
Works very well and with the amassing legacy of reliability. Obviously only time will tell, but this Ssd performs fantastic and is one of the fastest drives you can buy as a consumer

Fastest drive I have ever had
This drive is insanely fast. Expensive, but not unreasonable for the PC enthusiast. You may need to reset your PC firmware/bios for it to be recognized, at least that is what got it to work for my motherboard (MSI z790 ACE)

Reliable Samsung
I've never had an issue with a Samsung drive. The 9100 pro w/o hheatsink is very fast and stays well within temp range, which can be an issue for gen5 drives.

Unbelievable speed!
I thought my old 990 PRO was fast, but it cannot compare with the blazing speed of this device!One note of caution: If you want to check it out with Samsung Magician: First update Magician to the very latest version. The older version does not recognize this new device and will declare it counterfeit. The very latest version works just fine!One more point: You will only get its maximum speed if you connect it to the latest PCIe bus (Version 5.0 or later). Don't complain if you use an older PCIe bus!

One of the fastest on the market, made me a believer in Gen 5 drives.
FAST. I was of the opinion for a long time that a good Gen 4 drive like the 990 Pro was all you needed, but then I picked up one of these and realized I was mistaken. I can definitely tell the difference, especially loading games.It does get warm, so you need a decent heatsink for it. Typical Samsung reliability, and the Magician software is excellent for cloning if you need to do that.

Be sure before you buy
If you have a Asus STRIX Scar G18 gaming laptop it will not fit. I had an IT to install upgrades to the laptop and was told the samsung 9100 pro with heatsink does not fit which is disappointing when I asked the samsung representative if this product would fit my laptop they told me yes with no problem. The IT was not able to close the back of the laptop while the heatsink was on it i had them to remove the heatsink and add my own heatsink to the ssd in order for it to fit.Make sure if you are going to use it buy without Heatsink. otherwise it is a good heatsink
