This is a very nice lamp. I needed something that would light up my desk without bouncing off my screens into my eyes. This is perfect and the variable warm/cool light color and brightness makes it ideal for various situations. It is low key, sleek and unobtrusive while lighting exactly the way I needed. The remote switch is a nice touch. I recommend this.

I needed an edge-lit LED light with more than three color temperatures and a remote control to use for video calls and to help reduce eye strain since I work from home. The H01 is exactly what I needed. It's well made, has performed flawlessly and provides great lighting for both video calls and general lighting of my desk. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective light being emitted upwards as well as downwards relieved my near daily eye strain. The buttons on the front edge, including the preset for video calls are very convenient. The remote is easy to use, allowing me to choose from the five temperatures and 10 brightness levels as needed. Best of all, the price was very reasonable.

TL;DR, this is an excellent light, 10/10 would recommend. I did give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel like there should be more flexibility with the head, which would be more intuitive than making adjustments with the base, the only 360 rotating part. The other reason why I gave it a lower score is because I wish it was height adjustable. (But that means the cord would have to plug in to the head so, tradeoff I guess) Don't get me wrong, this is worth the buy. Here are some of my favorite things so far after using it for a day at work. > Love that the power cord plugs into the base and not up at the head. I didn't like the look of other lights having a cord flopping around, it looks very messy. > Lightweight, this was really easy for me to install by myself on my very deep desk. The padded c-clamp is also a very nice touch. > The "back" of the head has a consistent, low, warm light. I've flipped the head of my lamp because I want the brighter light to bounce off my white wall, rather than have it pointed at my face. (The better way to light yourself, btw). It does a very nice job of lighting up the dark corner of my desk. > The light brightness. Even though it's covered and you're not looking directly into a lightbulb (which I can't stand) I did need to crank up the brightness to even out the light from the window but it was too much having the brighter face right in my sightline. But my light has been on all day and it's not at all hot to the touch. > The remote control. Having the temp and the brightness on a dimmer is great for Zoom calls so I don't have to reach over and touch the lamp to adjust anything, I can just take care of it discreetly. The remote itself has a rubber bottom so it doesn't move when you make adjustments. And it comes with batteries, which is appreciated. > The preset for Zoom calls (or your default use) on the head is a really nice touch and not something I saw on other lights. > One handed adjustments. The joints/pivot points are nice and tight, there aren't any clamps to lock down if you need to adjust one of the arms which is super helpful during Zoom calls. Hopefully those hold and don't start to weaken. The lamp does bounce, though, if you make adjustments to brightness, color and/or preset. But I don't imagine I'll be touching the head of the lamp much, to be honest. I can't think of many reasons not to get this light, honestly.

Wide range of lighting. White to warm, which is comfortable for desk and mood lighting. Seems well made. Like how it clamps to back of desk using only a tiny amount of desk space. It has touch controls on the lamp. I’m not a fan of desk remotes because I don’t like to rely on batteries that eventually decline at fail at bad times, but the lamp doesn’t depend on the remote. I was dumbfounded for 15-20 min at how difficult it was to figure out how to install the batteries. There are some miniature diagrams on the base that show how it works. It seemed simple, but wasn’t. Watched a few videos and no other consumers had this issue, but finally, with a little finesse, it opened. Not sure why it was so difficult initially for me.
