This was a great value for the price of the doorbell. Bought because it can be wired to existing wire, I did change the transformer to make sure it was the correct amount of power. The camera itself and the app were easy to set up, and install, I liked it came with a wedge to tilt the camera to get more view of the doorway. Added the 128Gb sd card to capture video and added the Eufy Door chime unit as well. For no cloud service it works well capturing every delivery and every cat that strolls by, very happy with purchase adding one to our other home too.

I really love this doorbell camera. I replaced my broken RING bell and it was totally easy to set up. The fact that it's not hooked into a network of cameras and just operates locally on your home wifi makes me feel good. The quality of the camera is excellent and it integrated with my physical bell without issue. Highly recommended.

I would not buy this doorbell again, and I would not recommend it. In fact, I would recommend against it. The hardware may be capable, but the app and setup process are confusing, unintuitive, and poorly explained. Important features are hidden, basic functions are difficult to configure, and the default settings caused delays and connection problems. Once properly configured it can work, but getting there was far more frustrating and time-consuming than it should have been. Buyers should be aware that the setup and app experience are unnecessarily difficult. I also had to purchase a separate adjustable mount to protect the doorbell from heat because it shuts off if it gets too hot and a plug in chime to make it ring inside and not just on my phone these items cost $52 compared to the doorbell itself which was 75 on sale I had no idea these extra items would be necessary to make it work like a traditional doorbell with a camera

Overall this seems like a good doorbell camera and system to invest in if you don’t want another monthly subscription to deal with. Instructions are somewhat vague and not entirely correct. The storage device is not an SD card but a micro SD card. This important information is lacking in a few areas. Initial setup failed 3 times. After moving the unit next to a router things went well. Installation was fairly straightforward, I wired directly to the existing doorbell wiring. The app is easy to navigate and tailor to your preference. Adding another user is somewhat clunky - you can send an invite but they apparently need to setup their own “home” and then add the shared device. Picture quality is decent, even in low light situations. Field of view is also decent at 4’ above doorway, though I might add a small wedge to angle the unit down. I’ve not yet had any false positive alerts, which is nice.

I bought this doorbell for my parents, they love it. Just wished it came with a micro sd card. Their old Ring doorbell camera was giving them problems. This doorbell works really well.

Installation and setup with my existing Homebase 3 was quick and easy. Video quality is very good and the doorbell function works perfectly. Really appreciate the ability to store video on the Homebase and not having to pay for a subscription to review my own video footage.

Pros: The doorbell Cam works well and very quick with notifications. I have my router 10 ft away from the from door and my internet is 1G, very fast. Picture clarity is good. Photo video captures are difficult to find. Needs to look like the Ring Doorbell Camera system. Cons: When the doorbell rings and I answer, the people at the door can't understand me and I can't understand them. Very broken speech and also very delayed. Because of the above ....I would shop for another product and not use this particular doorbell camera.

Game changer!!! Replaced the camera i had that forces you to subscribe to use after so long I was told that this one will never require that it’s a lil more expensive than what i paid for other camera but this one is well built and much better quality viewing experience it’s just hard to find a door mount that it’s compatible with I found one on here & I wrote a review that it’s fits this model so AI help will find it for people who need it… so far I love my Eufy security camera great replacement!!!
