WilFiks Weed Puller Tool with Long Adjustable Handle

I have a neighbor that insisted I try her 'weeder' I frankly was impressed. The one she had was a more familiar brand named product. Wellll, I went to our local home improvement stores and only foud the 2 models of the brand named. I bought one....the darn thing did not work. I had the name but I was cheaply made, and did not pull the weeds. I must have tried it on about 20 weeds before I pulled one partly out....I send this back to the store. Enter Amazon... I read many pros and cons about nearly every product. I looked at the pictures and noticed this one had 4 pointy weed pullers. When I received it, I took it out to try it and it worked! ok... a couple did not come out completely, but the majority did. This does have a plastic foot "pedal" It seems sturdy, but I am careful of where and how I push it into the ground. I am glad I got this one...

This is an update review; I used this for the first time on May the 27th. to remove some crabgrass from side lawn. Today, June 29th, my second time to use, while removing a few crabgrass dots from my front lawn, the handle snapped. I want to inform the reader that I am disabled and I do not have that much strength! Our lawn was watered so it makes it easier for me, the handle still snapped! Outside of the return window, folks, things cost way too much nowadays to be spending your hard earned money on products that fail! Now, I either toss this and fork out the money for another brand from another seller or make a handle, plug in the drip press, mix some epoxy and grab a nut & bolt. The problem here is not so much my disabilities but seller not making good on a sale! I am a honest man giving a honest review, folks, save your money and search for a more durable tool for the job! I really liked using this tool, it does indeed work, could even be used to plant bulbs, unfortunately there is a flaw in materials!

This is WAY better than trying to pull weeds by hand or with a small weed removal tool. I was able to fly along my yard and lawn and remove tons of weeds with very little effort. The tool itself feels very sturdy and is very easy to assemble. You basically just snap together 3 or so pieces and you are off to the races. The tool is mostly metal based with the weed ejection system, top handle and lever being plastic based, but I don't see those as being the failure points. The tines and main stick are both metal. I'm about 6' and it's plenty tall for me to use comfortably on the tallest setting, but you could also make it about 5 inches shorter with it's adjustable height. I've pulled plenty of weeds by hand, which takes forever and you usually end up breaking off the root so they come back. With this I've had great luck pulling out the weeds effortlessly and getting their roots. I attached a picture of one of them which the root was may be 10+ inches. Really would recommend this even if you only plan to use it a few times a year. The cost , value, and time savings with it is definitely worth it.

Works great on weeds and not a bad price. 4 stars because the handle broke after one season of normal use. Would buy again

I really liked this weed puller. Found it so much easier than the grandpas puller BUT it broke. I’ve only had it for one month and 1 day. First a pin fell out so I replaced it with a screw then the foot lever broke so it does not attach to the post anymore. Update: the company sent me a new one and I’m back to pulling till my hearts content. Customer service was great and I truly love the way the puller works. The 4th prong makes a big difference. And this is so easy my kids as young as 3 can pull weeds not that they help for very long.
