I love the wide steps. Very sturdy.

Great upper level stepstool. Very sturdy yet compact. Arm supports (hand rails) add to the safety for seniors. This allows us to reach ceiling level items (cabinets, fans, lights, etc.) easily and safely. And the price was very reasonable.

This ladder is a little heavy but I am a 70 year old Woman. The weight is worth it because the ladder is very stable. It has nice wide steps and with 4 of them, I feel safe having the extra height. It folds up and stores nicely. Its been a great purchase.

It’s a pretty cool step ladder. I would buy another one but 1 is all I need. It’s worth the money. I give it a 4 cause I don’t know if there’s anything worth 5. But a good product.

Great step stool. My husband has size 13 feet and weighs over 250 so its wide steps and weight limits are wonderful. Easy to open and close.

This definitely is NOT rated for 400 lbs. I'd wager maybe 250 lb max to be stable. It's OK on flat flooring but not on carpeting. I have good and bad feelings about this ladder/step stool. Positive points: Easy to assemble with only 4 bolts/washers/nuts and pin latches for the upper handle. The steps are a good size and can easily handle a man's shoe size in depth. The side rails are fantastic. Sturdy in overall tube construction that you feel like you are holding onto something stable. Although the extra depth of 8.5 inches with the hand rails, you will need a good 9 inch clearance to store this bad boy! Now for some less positive: The overall stability of the ladder is still wobbly when going up and down the steps. I tried on concrete, wood flooring and lightly padded carpeting. The concrete and wood flooring gave a bit more feeling of stability, but, the carpeting was very scarry. It was like the ladder was tweaking or trying to twist. I'm Definitely not going to use it on the carpeted areas. The cardboard packaging was very light Wright and almost like dry rotted. 3 of the 4 corners were torn off, most of the large staples holding it together gone and packaging tape wrapped around it to keep it closed. There were missing parts. 1 of the 4 bolts and 2 of the 4 washers and 2 of the 4 nuts were not in the plastic bag which had a hole in it. This cost me an additional $5.36 to get the beeded items to assemble the hand rails. I'm assuming the misding items was from UPS shipping mishandling of the box. Also because of the box damage, two areas on the ends to the side rails were scraped up. The foam covering on the hand rails and upper bar were squished flat. I'm assuming that is from long term storage at the companies warehouse. I'm hoping ithe foam will re-inflate over time. It's still usable and more esthetic but very disappointing. I would have normally returned the item as damaged, but, it's so large and heavy and the box was already damaged that I'm just going to suck it up and call it a day. Pictures to follow.

This ladder is excellent for those of us who are not as steady as we used to be. I still recommend someone spot you when climbing a ladder, but this one with the side rails and non- slip treads is much safer. Safer even if you are pretty steady.
