Mars Hydro Timer Controller
Easy to work with. Does what I need.

Use the Mars Hydro Pro app not the regular app
Use the Mars Hydro Pro app. I installed the Mars Hydro app but it didn’t connect via Bluetooth. Zilch. I then installed the Mars Hydro Pro app and it connected fine. Some glitches in the app - couldn’t set the stop time to PM in Timer mode for example. Grrrrr

Bulky, Incompatible, Expensive.
This gets the job done but there are better options available with modern smart plugs. The button controls are clunky and I couldn't get the device to pair with my phone via the app so I bought a smart plug from TreatLife for $15. The $15 plug had no issues connecting and setting up a schedule for my lights. Plus the TreatLife plug is literally 1/3 the size of this MarsHydro model and 1/4 the cost. There's lots of different manufacturers selling cheap smart plugs that have timer functions and app control. Save your money.

Definitely my game changer for running the add light supplemental UV and IR Edit:Only gripe is u can only have two total units in use at the same time

Expensive for what it is

Working great since I've had it, reliable device
I've been using this for a while and it's pretty straight forward and easy to setup and use. The app also makes it convenient to use and control the settings. I've been growing plants indoors and the timer has been reliable at sticking to the schedule that I programmed it. It has never missed a programmed time. As for the size, it's not really compact so it will take up space of neighboring outlets. The durability is fine, I have mine hooked up outside of a grow tent, away from humidity and heat, and nothing about it has deteriorated.

Units pretty cool . Directions could be alot better . But seems to work good . Like the phone app
