The X-Files Complete Series, Seasons 1-11

Brilliant. I remember watching the X Files in the 90s and videod them. We'll worth a purchase with hours of viewing entertainment.

A top quality brand new box set of the complete series, its been great to watch them again at my own pleasure.

I was in two minds about buying the Blu-Ray version of this series, as the price is now not too bad at 62 euro, i am so glad i did, the quality of both the picture and sound is better than i expected. Some reviewers say the packaging is the one thing that lets this blu-ray version down, i would agree that it is not the best, but for the price you pay for this version i can forgive this they do stack more discs on one spindle, and sometimes it can be finnicky to try to remove one disc at a time, to me it seems easier to take out in one go all the discs on that spindle, and put back what you do not need at that time. As for the series itself, to anyone who is an X-Files fan, this is a must have version, getting all 11 seasons in one compact edition, something the other Blu-Ray version does not have, and for less money as well. from the few episodes i have already watched, it is the picture quality that you notice straight away, and the 16.9 aspect ratio rather than 4.3 that the first few seasons had on their original TV broadcast. As for the series itself, it is still as watchable now as it was in the early 90s, i was hooked on this series then, and it is a pleasure to watch it again, something i will probably do every few years, for those who did not watch it first time around, i would highly recommend this series, and for those that did and who loved it, would hopefully get as much enjoyment out of it as i am doing at the moment, it was a a moment in history where a tv series really caught peoples imagination, and has become such a classic over time, it is good to have the latest 2 seasons included as well, only made in the last couple of years, as others have said, it would have been nice to include the 2 movies as well, but they can be bought separately on Blu-ray for those that want the complete collection, as of now anyway. Physical media that you can actually hold in your hand, rather than digitally stored on a hard drive might be on the way out, but the quality of a Blu-ray disc is for now at least a better viewing experience. If i had already owned the normal DVD version, i may not have bought this Bu-ray version, but i would have missed out on the massive jump in picture quality and aspect ratio this version has, so for those reasons, and its price point, i would highly recommend this for any fan of this series.

Great series, the box is not great but for the price its acceptable, i did display the set but have removed the discs and put them in a folder, this is only the series no films included but I had these anyway, recommend for any x files fan

Make sure you know what you really expect from your purchased collection, so you avoid potential disappointments. Thanks to the previous reviewers, I was well aware what to expect or not to expect from the physical or the visual form of this definitive box-set (released in October 2018). Personally, my main point of interest from the beginning was the very compact packaging and of course, the content of the 60 Blu-ray discs. Yes, they are stacked by two or three per spindle on top of each other and you have to be a bit patient at the point of removing the discs for the first time. So don't expect any surprises here at all. The real Easter eggs are hidden in the series itself. The Blu-ray image quality and the image ratio are splendid, the sound quality gives the sound ambient a new dimension (Even if the language information printed on the box doesn't say it, the language options include English, German, Spanish and French as well for the subtitles). In the end, I am very satisfied with this redux collection as it is a good deal for the selling prize of £59 (I purchased the definitive collection from France, so €64). FYI, the other collections with more interesting visuals are starting from about €160 (due to March, 2020). - - - As the main theme can get overwhelming at some point on your journey through the 218 episodes, the episodes' chapter division allows you to simply skip the title sequence. This was a BIG plus for me :)

Great item

An excellent box set, but it does not include the two movies, namely: The X-Files: Fight the Future and The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

If you where a fan when the X Files was on the TV you'll not be disappointed. Most episodes still work despite the age of the series. If you never saw them the first time round they're worth buying. Wait for a sale though. Note: the first few seasons are 4:5 aspect ratio, well the DVDs are. The packaging is ok for the number of DVDs. Just be patient when stacking the discs. One annoying aspect is the copyright warnings in four or five languages at the start and end of each disc.

Todas las temporadas + extras en una caja pequeña pero con excelente calidad de sonido e imagen. El audio en inglés es Dolby 5.1. Tiene audio español latino, que aunque solo es estéreo suena genial. El precio del producto es inmejorable... Recomendable al 100%

以前の版では DVD が１枚ずつ放送期間別に分冊されたアルバムに収納され、出し入れするには便利でしたが、その反面、かさばって重く、また、アルバムもすぐに DVD が滑り出るようになっていました。価格も本製品の4倍ほどしたと思います。この版だと、DVD は束にしてケースの軸に挿されています。DVD の出し入れにはこの上なく不便ですが、付属のケースは捨てて、２枚ずつ市販の DVD ケースに入れれば、かえって便利で破損しにくいと思います。

Amazing. People complain about the casing but once you learn how to use it, you will have no problem
