K'NEX - Amazin' 8 Coaster ‚ STEM Building Set

My son loves this so much. However, sometimes the cart gets stuck on the pulley. He just maneuvers it with his hands so it works for him and he plays with it for hours

My son loves this set so much it is challenging to build but not to the point where it was to hard. Any child would be able to complete it with a bit of adult help!

I bought this to draw some eyes to my theme park club at a college club fair. I cut out a piece of plywood to make a solid base and ziptied the coaster to it. It definitely worked to get a lot of people to come over and listen to our spiel. The instructions were easy to follow and the setup is pretty sturdy. Definitely beats out the crappy knock-off lego model we used to have.

A great toy, fun to build. However, the car doesn’t always complete the loop and the structure is a bit fragile (that is, hard to move around your house without parts getting disconnected.

Grandson said he liked it. I saw it work and it seemingly went together as described.

Kept my busy kid busy for a couple days and he loved the challenge of making it!

I just spent 3 plus hours putting this thing together. The instructions are easy enough to follow. But be aware, there are NO extra parts. Zero. If you lose a single part (and they are tiny) you can't complete the toy. Somehow I managed not to lose any parts, which made it even more frustrating when the roller coaster wouldn't complete a single circuit. The last turn of the track is way too small for the car, and make is physically impossible for the car to return to the lift hill. Also, lift motor makes a loud sound and only works sporadically. If you like wasting money and time and crushing your child's dreams on their birthday, I highly recommend this toy. Otherwise avoid it at all costs. I don't know what I was thinking!

A little tricky for my son to assemble alone just turning 8 but this was our first K’nex. It’s pretty pretty cool ! Note there are no spare parts!

Onze zoon van net 8 kon hem zelfstandig in elkaar zetten. Heel leuk degelijk speelgoed.

The coaster was fun to build, my husband remembers K’nex being larger and harder to snap together but these were easy enough for our 6 year old. Once assembled it took some adjusting to get the motor to pull the car all the way up all while it still made a loud clicking noise as it struggled to do so but it works!
