Blue Washboard Basin for Hand Washing Clothes and Small Delicate Articles

Took this on a two week camping trip. Was perfect for those days I didn't feel like going to the busy laundry. Blue Jamaican soap and a hook line made it easy to wash everything. Light weight, sturdy, functional, small and a good bang for buck when you're away from home.

This isn't very big but I didn't want a very big one. I have it hanging in my laundry room, I actually hung up a hook for it. It has a hole for hanging. It's useful when the washing machine acts up for delicates especially, really helps with handwashing. Great for the price. Nice to have one piece basin and the area to scrub the clothes.

Small. Works best for small clothes, socks, etc.

I originally purchased this item in December 2020. When it came I was disappointed because it was way smaller than I anticipated. So I just stuck it in a corner and haven't used it. Fast forward to today 7/16/21..... I have a white bra I have been wearing to clean in. We decided to do a weekend camping trip and even though it was a little dirty I didn't want to wear anything else. Needless to say, by the time we got home it was gross. Thru it in the laundry and then our washer broke. I decided I needed to hand wash it and remembered this washboard. I let my bra soak in it with detergent for about an hour and then I started washing. OMGosh I couldn't believe how good the washboard was! I literally was shocked at how well it got out the dirt and stains (you women know what I'm talking about). I can't give this washboard enough stars. It is small, but mighty!

I like this for hand washing. It just fits it my bathroom sink. I bought bars of hand washing soap for fabric. It smells so good. You can watch a slip or 2 bras or pair of panties at a time. It's not huge.

I used this with Zote soap to remove a stain from a hand towel that the washer left behind. The washboard portion is effective! This item is very small. Pros: - Small and light enough to place on your toilet seat cover to use to wash, even filled with water. - IF you are short of water, it could be a good tool. - Easy to drain and store. - The washboard part does scrub as a washboard should. - You don't need to free up a sink to use it. Cons: - There isn't room to pre-soak very much. Maybe a pair of socks. - Not efficient for large items. This is good for socks, face masks, underpants, hand towels, wash cloths. napkins, diapers, things of that size. If you were desperate, you could do a small patch at a time of a large item, but it would be a horrible use of your time and energy. If you want to do t-shirts, jeans, towels, things of that size, you need a bigger washboard and a decent size bucket or tub. A pillowcase would be a stretch in this thing! IF you don't abuse it by trying to scrub items that are too large, it should hold up for a couple years. I probably will NOT buy another. A small washboard in my bathroom sink would be easier to use and more compact for storage.

Though it was made from plastic it is thick and sturdy. though it is smaller than expected for a basin it is more likely a size of your bathroom sink. Product is recommendable if you prefer your clothes to be handwashed. I handwashed a kitchen towel that was full of oil when I fried a fish, the smell and oil from the towellete doesn't go away even I used a hot water and soaked it with a dishwashing soap. I soaked it with a pure soap and eventually the oil was separated from the towellete but need some scrubbing. This one helped me with the job with ease. doesn't need to scrub it using my two hands. save me from time and energy. Though it is pricey for a plastic basin. hope this one last just like my basin from a dollar store.

I am very pleased with the washboard basin as it is nice and sturdy, not flimsy at all, and easy to use. I have arthritis in the hands so this makes hand washing delicate items that I want to give scrub to much easier. It does not hold a lot of water as it has the wash board which is a nice size and is shallow but it holds enough to get the job done nicely. It does not take a lot of room to store. I wish I had gotten this sooner.
