I'm a huge fan of American tool companies, especially automotive tools, and SK has always been my favorite. This ratchet met the expectations I come to have from SK and SK quality control has always been spot-on for me. Super durable, great finish, perfect build quality, and best of all they do their job as good as you're going to find from any tool on the planet, especially their ratchets. You can't beat the price either! Size is perfect, just long enough to get my hand on the handle which let's me get maximum strength in a tight space. The tear drop head gives me just a little extra room to fit in hard to reach places. Finally, the 90 tooth design is great, love the low arc.

Surprised at how much I use this. Thought I would only pull it out for special occasions where a bigger ratchet wouldn't fit..... I was wrong. Size, balance, weight.... it just all works for me. Ratchet action feels good, if perhaps a bit too strong for the length of handle. Probably last forever.

i couldn't pass this deal up on black friday. needed a 3/8 stubby and the gear wrench ones were just a little more than i cared to pay. if only the big gear wrench ratchet set was on more of a sale.. anyway, the only complaints i have so far about this is that the ratcheting mechanism is somewhat stiff. so much that if you're ratcheting fast it will reverse the direction on you. overall quality is spot on. i've used icon, gear wrench, snap-on, craftsman, matco, ares, duratech, etc.. craftsman ratchets were always my go to and was my first real socket set and have held up great. just not the same great warranty they used to have with sears gone. so far gear wrench is my favorite by far for quality vs price. matco/snap-on are great but at a cost. my ares 120T work wonderful as well. I'll have to get some more use out of this SK to see if it'll be a good alternative to the gear wrench, but I'm confident this stubby will do it's job just fine.

This tiny 3/8 drive ratchet has proven to be very useful. I find myself using it for more than I expected and no longer try to spin nuts and bolts in small spaces with my fingers.
