Product arrived intact as in good condition. Temperature readings are accurate and verified with a mercury thermometer. Quality appears good, I wish the mounting clip didn't fall off so easily. It vanished within 2-3 days of use. The size is perfect for deep cookpots, commercial cooking. The functionality is as advertised.

I read many reviews and they should not say it is resistant to water from what I can gather. I have only used it once to make hard crack candy and it worked perfectly. I didn't bother calibrating it and it may have been one or two degrees off but it works well enough and is much better than any candy thermometer I have used in the past. The clip attaches securely.
