I'm not going to mince words, it smells pretty terrible. Sort of like chicken or beef bullion but... wrong. At first, the smell really overpowers the flavor, but after a moment you can taste it more cleanly. The flavor is... complicated haha. Wild onions, mango, cream, garlic, and something like cocoa all one after another. The wild onions and cream seem to be the strongest. It's an interesting flavor. The after taste is... pretty bad in my opinion. I dislike onions tho, and it is very strongly onion flavored afterwards. I think I could grow to really like it, but I'm going to have to take it very slowly. For today, two is more than enough.

These aren't bad for a freeze-dried fruit candy but if youreally want the full experience the best way to go is to try the real thing.

Sometimes the smell hit me and sometimes it didn't. The flavor grows on you and it's kind of creamy tasting.

I was curious as to what durian fruit tasted it. Folks, this stuff is banned for a reason—it nasty!!! “Candy” tastes like a banana served with grilled onions. Smells like it, too.If you appreciate the taste of durian fruit, then by all means purchase this product. It arrived on time. The chewy texture did appear fresh. Well packaged in individual wrappers and double bagged packaging to better contain smell.

Worst thing I have EVER tasted in my life. The smell is just as bad. It's like egg salad threw up on a fart. I guess it's an acquired taste, but everyone in my house hated it.
