Just what I needed!

Perfect fit
These canner gaskets are a perfect replacement for my 23 quart Presto canner. I like that they included the overpressure plug, which should be replaced every time you replace the gasket. Also like that it's a set of two gaskets and two plugs, which makes the current price of $13.94 very reasonable. Now I feel like I don't have to continue to use my old gasket even though it really needs to be replaced!

Rings too loose

Fits my Presto 23 quart canner and holds pressure
Safe canning practices require replacing the seal in the lid of a pressure canner periodically or after storing for a long period of time. I have a relatively new (2-3 year old) Presto 23 quart pressure canner and wanted a spare gasket so I wouldn't be out of service if the original failed. This set fits perfectly and looks and feels nearly identical to the original one that came with the canner. But, I ran a test to be sure... I installed the gasket and ran the canner on 15psi for 10 minutes or so and let it cool down as I normally do. It held the pressure perfectly with no leaking steam or anything that looked unusual. Definitely recommend.
