It's a great product that's easy to install, looks good, and holds what I need it to.

Not sure what kind of damage it has done to my apartment walls but it feels sturdy and has held a potted plant and a large picture frame.

I think this shelf is awesome. I found it easy to install and remove. I'm including a photo of the holes left behind. These are small and easy to cover if your landlord is being a jerk. Just a note for folks, these size of holes are completely within normal wear & tear and if your landlord thinks they're a problem then they're just being difficult. Also, I've had a salt lamp on this shelf for about 6 months now. The lamp is 8-11 lbs per the description, and the shelf has held up great. I only took it down because I rearranged my room. I would buy another, but apparently they're twice as expensive now. That ticks me off.

I have ruined more walls and put more uncalled-for holes in the wall than anyone. When I saw this hanging shelf, I was so excited. Then I read one of the comments and it sold me. The lady said she was 60-some years old and wasn't able to hang the shelf quite as easily as the ad showed. She said she had arthritis in her hands so she hammered in the part that then girl just pressed in. She said it was so easy to install. Didn't bend it or anything So I bought it and did the same thing. EASY-PEASY. I can't wait to buy more. SAY GOODBYE TO DRYWALL PLUGS AND A TUBE OF SPACKLE every time I hang one. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!

I'm terrified of putting holes in the wall and of things falling off. I've messed up more "anchor" jobs than I can count. I knew there were no studs in that area. Surprised me that I had these shelves up in just a few minutes. People said not to use the level that it came with. I did. I tested the level against my fancy level and it came up fine. So much easier to use the one included. I also couldn't push the fasteners in with my hand - probably because of texturing and old wallpaper underneath. But the hammer - yes, the full size "who's your daddy" hammer - did no harm. I would definitely use these again. Looking for more places to put some...

It’s very strong (better than the traditional shelf that I replaced). It supports my 8lb cat with no problem. However: you will need a hammer to get the clips into the wall all the way unless you are the hulk.

This really was very easy to install, although it was not a tool free installation as we needed to hammer it in. Neither myself or my fiancé could just press the metal part into the wall as instructed. That was not a big deal though, and once we fixed the metal parts on the wall it was a no brainer to put it up. They look good! I bought 2 of the 18” inches and one of the 24”, which came broken twice. The 18” ones came perfect however.

Work good on dry wall and fairly easy. The installation system is a set of clamps that will leave 4 holes each ( 8 holes total) on your wall. Whether a hammer is needed or not depend on your hard or soft wall. Shelf looks sturdy , or rather bulky, for holding 15lbs max but it does what advertised.
