I recently purchased a new tent and the stakes that are sent with new purchases are a joke. I am so happy that I ordered these stakes before we went camping this week. The ground where we set up was hard so I used these stakes and they worked great. I will be ordering another 8 pack of them. Thanks for a quality product. By the way I take a crowbar camping, it is great for pulling the stakes out of hard ground.

I have never seen tent stakes this big nor this heavy duty. I go camping in the Texas Hill Country on the Guadalupe River and the ground is hard AND rocky. I used to use the typical small metal stakes that come with tents; the ones that bend under the slightest impact of a hammer or rock trying to drive them into the ground. In such cases, you either relocate to a softer area or just forget about it. Well, this is not the case with these bad boys. They are strong and it would take a lot to bend them under pressure which they DID NOT. I pounded as hard as I could witth a full size hammer and they kept their integrity; they did not bend and they were driven all the way into the Texas earth. I am very happy with this purchase. They will keep my tent and canopy in place better than before. I am very pleased with this purchase. Additional Info: Comes with a carry bag with a drawstring. Each stake is individually wrapped in plastic.

Large and solid stakes. These are heavy and not at all suitable to carry for any distance. For car camping, setting camp tarp or picnic tarp, these are perfect and a step up from the ones with the green or orange plastic top clip. The stakes are long and hold firm but they do come up easily for breaking camp. I did not have any stakes bend nor did I have any welds break, so QC seems pretty good to me. Included stuff sack is useful. I expect these to last quite a while.

These stakes are well built. Very heavy and will hold up well. I have used them is all kinds of soil and they work as they should. These are for car camping not backpacking. The storage bag had holes in it when it arrived, I don’t see that lasting long. The review is for the stakes not the bag.

These metal tent stakes are definitely great quality! They aren't the flimsy plastic stakes, these are some serious stakes. Guaranteed to hold down your tent far better than the plastic type of stakes. When you're done, they are easily removed from the ground.

These are the best tent stakes I've ever used. Granted they're too heavy for backpacking, but for car camping they can't be beaten. They don't bend when you're driving them in, even in somewhat rocky soil. And, the horizontal piece doesn't bend when you're pulling them out of the ground. After I bought the first set and used them, I then bought a second set and got rid of all of my other stakes. Definitely worth the money.

i was sick of dealing with those teeny little things that came with my tent and ordered these hoping they would be more substantial. Boy are they ever! These are more like railroad spikes than tent stakes! Heavy, sharp, long, I love them! Drove them into stony ground with ease and barely scuffed the paint off of them. I expect to have these for the rest of my camping life. If you are sick of dealing with flimsy tent stakes, buy these - you won't be sorry!
