Works superbly. I feel like this suspend the knife blades really well. Compared to the traditional file like shaperners, which seem like they'd be filing away the knife. The diamond coating seem to get the blade one point.

How to use it properly
This sharpener did what I needed my knives were really blunt but have now all been revived thanks to this sharpener

Top quality, low price
I've been working in kitchens for years now and until now only used electric knife sharpeners as I always found the file like sharpening rods just dont do the job very well, however this diamond knife sharpener is a very fine grit and can make a cheap £7 chef knife cut like a scalpel

Not the best
The coating soon wore off, I should have bought a more expensive version
