My family absolutely loves this game. We’re the kind of family that usually ends up arguing over Monopoly, to the point where even suggesting it makes everyone want to rip their hair out, but CATAN has been a completely different experience. It definitely takes a game or two to properly get the hang of it and understand the strategy, but once it clicks, you’re fully into it and competing to conquer the whole board. The quality of the game itself is amazing too — the board and pieces are beautifully made with a nice variety of colours, feel really sturdy, and everything is easy to assemble and set up. A brilliant game for family game nights, especially if you want something competitive and strategic without the Monopoly-level chaos.

Very great seller, mint condition board game packed very well - not a single imperfection on the box with the beautiful artwork. Easy to understand and play for first timers. Your first game will be slow but easy to understand afterwards. Expect 3 hours of non stop fun, bargaining for important resources, forming alliances and building your kingdom

Bought this for the family for Christmas, and it is a good game, so long as you don't let the younger expert stack the table and choose first position. It came in the box, as seen with the shipping labels stuck directly to it. No plastic, no shipping box or envelope. Luckily I was in to receive it in the wet weather, but it still took a hour of messing around to get the labels and residual adhesive off. If buying as a gift, or you want a pretty looking box, tick the "this is a gift" option to get Amazon to wrap it up in something.

amazing game you can play over and over and get a different result every time. this edition is beautiful and the pieces are high quality and satisfying to hold and use, so durable and sturdy. these pieces and the box are designed to be easy to put away and get out, everything has its own section and makes you want to play it again. great game!!

Intresting game but not fully my cup of tea. Well made. I like the quality of cards and elements. Definitely needs larger group of players. Not difficult to understand rules. I recommend for family and friends game time.

I’m not really a big board game person, but CATAN was the first one I actually enjoyed, which is exactly why I bought it. The first time I played was with friends while staying in a cottage in Wales, and what started as let’s try one game turned into us playing for hours without even realising it. It’s surprisingly addictive, with lots of negotiating, laughing, and the occasional friendly argument when someone steals your resources. Assembly was easy and straightforward, and everything made sense once it was laid out. The game itself is not too difficult to pick up, even for beginners. The rules are simple enough to learn quickly, but there’s plenty of strategy to keep it interesting the more you play. Packaging and shipping were fine, nothing out of the ordinary, and everything arrived in good condition. Overall, it’s a great game to play with friends, especially on trips or long evenings when you want something social and competitive without being too complicated. If this is my entry point into board games, I finally get the hype.

It is fun to play. We tried it with the extension and 6 players, and it was very enjoyable. It takes a bit of time to set up, but it is worth it. The materials are good quality.

Por años, mis hijos y yo disfrutamos a jugar Risk. Pero mi hija escuchó algo de este juego, Catan, y ahora es nuestro nuevo favorito! Tienes que usar mucho estrategia para ganar el juego, también de negoción. Encantamos este juego!!! Mis hijos están graduando la prepa ahora.

Was looking everywhere to find Catan in a store locally to no avail. Amazon came clutch here (and even had a discount at time of purchase). Wonderful board game, would recommend to all friends, 10/10

This game is great, with the dynamic board every game is different and it does not drag on like monopoly.
