Bought this (along with some malt whisky)as a stocking filler for my husband. Worked ok. Took more effort than I thought to get the ice ball out of the mould. Ball tended to split into pieces after a short amount of time, diluting the drink more than desired. Served its purpose of chilling the drink and was ok as a novelty. I reckon it'll be something that gets used every now and then.

Seems to do what it says on the tin: large spherical ice ball - wife says that it keeps cooler for longer without having to replenish.

I've had these for over a week now and tried every variation in procedure I can think of (boiled/chilled water etc)…but still the ice balls come out with big fractures. When put into a drink, the fractures are weak points where the ice melts faster and often results in the ball breaking in two. The instructions are basic so if anyone would like to point out what I’m doing wrong, I’d be happy to try and if successful I’ll update this review.

Great and convenient!! I use this daily and have had no issues with this product. Super easy to use and great results.Occasionally I can get a perfect glass ball but more often than not I'll get about 3/4 of a sphere with the final bit a little cracked or ridged but that's not a problem.I do recommend overfilling these and then once full and the two pieces are together running the water/expansion hole under the tap just to top it off to ensure a full sphere.

I was expecting this to give some semi-spherical ice "cube" but it works well and does not leak.The next challenge it to get the ice clear, with no miniature bubbles, but I suspect distilled water may be needed for that...

I use these to entertain the dog with a round ball of ice in summer... he loves it!

Excellent, easy to fill, remove and clean, much better than other similar products I have tried. Saves having to keep topping your glass up with ice, as the ice ball really does last ages. I will definitely be ordering some more 😁

I've tried various ice gimmicks before for whisky such as whisky stones and never found them as good as the idea. These however are great. I leave mine for around 6 hours and they're perfect for a good few whiskys. They're perfect in size for a whisky tumbler and keep the whisky nicely cold without diluting them too much with water
