Unlike previous reviews, the cans arrived in a box that was packed very well, so all cans arrived in perfect condition - no dents. This is the best Young Jackfruit product on the market. Our grocery store, Wegmans, carries this brand, but I think my community now knows this is the best & it's often out of stock. We use young jackfruit to make 'pulled pork' . Also there was a bonus included in our box - a two-tined stainless steel cocktail fork. Will buy again on-line.

It came again with the cans bent, but it's okay.As long as the jackfruit inside is intact, which it was. Great taste low sodium. Second time buying will buy again. Good price and variety Tonight i'm making tacos.

Four of the six cans severely dented

Made BBQ sandwiches and they were delish. Also made a WFPB cream of mushroom gravy , shredded jackfruit and ate over mashed potatoes. Both dishes were very good. The secret is in the seasonings.

I like the product a lot. I got two dented cans out of the bunch. Had to throw away so really I got four cans for the price .

In a plant based household this is a must! We turn jackfruit into just about anything, carnitas, asada, pollo. We use it to make tlacoyos, pupusas, tacos, burritos, you name it my favorite is tamales and empanadas. I just wish it didn’t cost so much. Buuut, cant complain. The end product is wel worth every bite. Not to mention it gets here super fast.

I haven't tried this jackfruit yet. I am anxious to try it, but I was very disappointed in the condition of the cans upon arrival. Every can had big dents in them very badly. No one should have to receive cans in this condition. I will post again after I open and use the jackfruit. I opened one bent can, the jackfruit was fine. I cooked it like chicken taco meat and made tacos. They were very good. You can find recipes on the Internet or make up your own. I had enough left over to make more tacos tomorrow or nachos or enchiladas, whatever you like. You can use any kind of toppings you like. I happen to like a lot of lettuce and tomato with a little cheese. If you are vegan, use whatever you like. I'm not vegan but like a lot of vegetables instead of meat and this worked out very well. I can't wait to try different recipes. Barbecue will also be good.

The best pulled pork substitute out there. Yes, the cans get bent a little, but it’s nothing horrible. It’s weird that people knock it for the cans being dented. Anyway, it tastes on the side of a black olive meaty taste, with far less sodium. I LOVE this product! So many meals made!
