ACME Studios Biltmore Brand X Retractable Pen (P6W50)

I purchased this pen as a gift. I wanted something special that would be a lasting remembrance of the occasion. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed. This pen has a unique and beautiful design, but it is packaged in an ugly, cheap-looking tin box. The tin box is enclosed in a heavy paper black sleeve, which doesn't look too bad at first glance. But you have to remove the sleeve, of course, in order to get to the pen. A person who owns this pen may carry it in a pocket but could also prefer to leave it on a desk in its case without sleeve so it would be easily accessible. Ugh! Also, the descriptive literature said there were two different type refills included, but they were missing. The pen itself wrote fine, but nothing special, no better than the inexpensive pens I use daily. This pen was definitely not worth the price, and I would not recommend it. I returned it.

I've purchased some other Acme pens in the past, but this one in my favorite. It has the perfect balance and feel, and writes very smoothly. It is exquisitely built, and beautifully finished. If you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, you can't go wrong with this pen.

An original, eye catching pen. Attractive as well as interesting design. Looks classy and high quality. Draws lots of compliments.
