Jimmy Dean, Premium Pork Regular Sausage Roll, 16 oz

I feel like this is a great roll of sausage. It’s small and just the right size to use up and cook up all at once. It’s got great flavor and is very fresh and it’s a great value for the money. It’s not too greasy. I want to fry them up if you put them on a napkin they’re totally fine and you won’t have to dump out any extra grease or anything like that. I cooked them up and have them scrambled eggs and then had the sausage patties throughout the rest of the week. I also bought this one in the spicy version and there was no difference.

Always fresh and great tasting. Use in red beans and rice, chili and, of course, for breakfast. Never disappointed.

This sausage has been a reliable staple for many decades. My only complaint, which is very minor, is that the sugar content is enough to cause patties of this sausage to blacken if you aren't very careful when cooking them. I have never found a bone chip or any other undesirable inclusion in Jimmy Dean sausage. The lean-to-fat ratio is just fine.The only breakfast sausage that I like better than Jimmy Dean's comes from a local butcher shop, for about twice the price.
