Back in the day, Mom was always "wipe your feet!". These days, nobody seems to think of it. This type of mat does a pretty decent job of interdicting the stuff people would be otherwise tracking into our house.

A bit smelly. A bit small. But it’s pretty and seems like it’ll do just fine.

It is so pretty. I bought the large rectangle for the front door, the stair runners for the front stoop and the half moon for the back door. I have a walk up concrete front porch and I like that they stay in place and keep the stairs safe without having to attach them to the concrete. I also have a thing for decorative cast iron and that is what these look like but they are actually rubber. Very happy.

Looks really small on the front step,should have measured first ,but a really nice looking mat,should work fine in winter to step out the door without slipping.
