Yes, this product is excellent. Simple and safe to use and the product does the work so you don't have to I highly recommend it.

Can this be used safely on the outdrive as well?

Unknown. I only used it on my aluminum hull. Thee it worked great

Can I use this on metal trim tabs and propellers?

I do not believe so, this product is for fiberglass hull. I would test a small section before using. The product is great on cleaning the hull from lake scum, cleans like magic!
