really nice but don't know how strong and long-lasting it is. Its just as described. can't wait to show it off at a wedding :)

• Colours were not what I ordered... ~ Where there is orange was supposed to be green and where there is yellow was supposed to be orange.The black dots were also meant to be green. • It was very hard to prise open... ~ Not just stiff but catchy. ~ It wouldn't stay open as central pivot is too tight ( also this metal pivot is badly made and very sharp ). ~ To open and close as needed would; a) be a fiddly struggle,rather than an instant flick like most fans and b) clearly have an adverse effect on the flimsy structure of the fan. ... So I tied it with baker's twine. • No matter how tight I tied it... ~ THE FAN WOULD NOT FULLY OPEN ! ~ This left the handles at a difficult and uncomfortable angle to hold,trapping skin between them whilst in use. • ALL edges and finishes on this fan were left freshly cut and raw... ~ This means the handles will need sanding down before being ready for regular use. ~ It also looks tatty and cheaply made, without care for the item's appearance or for value for (customer's) money. • The cotton thread used in securing the bamboo strips together is very low quality,shoddy and unfit to withstand the rough opening and closing of this badly made fan. • The bamboo fibre strips are quite loosely set and there is a large gap between the handles at the centre of the "disc"... ~ This means air freely passes through the fan when in use and the cooling effect is negated... ~ In other words; IT DOESN'T WORK. I can't think of much positive to say about this fan...I suppose it has a vintage and rustic aesthetic but it could just as easily be viewed as cheap and nasty. Don't waste your money.

Incredibly stiff and hard to open. Fanned to close to my face and the sharp bamboo edges scratched it. Sent it back unfortunately.

I get a ton of compliments on it every time I use it. I have used it on trips and it has been beat up in luggage, purses, backpacks, you name it. Holding up well even with rough use.
