Dunes Traditional Isfahan High Density 1" Thick Wool 1.5 Million Point Persian Area Rug, 13' x 16', Sage Green

First off, the rug is beautiful... Very plush and the colors and pattern is vibrant. But the description is very deceptive. The 13 X 16 foot rug was not 1 inch thick as advertised. The pile is actually less than 1/2 inch thick and the total thickness, counting the backing mat is way less than 3/4 inches, maybe not even 1/2 inch thick. The shipping charges were over $70. I figured this was due to fact that the rug was so long, and would require a freight truck delivery... Not so, it was delivered by a standard size FedEx van. The rug had been rolled up and then bent double to fit into the van. The bending double caused the fabric on the outside of the bend to be stretched and the fabric on the inside of the bend to be compressed, resulting creases and wrinkles that have yet to flatten out. The rug has been laying for over a week now. Had it not been for the false advertising and shipping damage I would have given a five star rating...
