Meguiar's DMC3 DA 3" Microfiber Cutting Disc, 2 Pack

If you every do detailing, these are a must have! I promise that you will wish you had them for the smaller areas and odd angles. They are perfect size for all problem areas. If you clean and take care of them they will last a long time and continue scrubbing without causing damage or falling apart. Meguiars offers the best microfiber I've ever found. You really can't find a better product at this price point that works as good as and makes the job easier.

Had used these pads on a fairly new car with black paint that was ruined from a free soft touch car wash from the dealership that it came from. I used a pea sized of meguiars 210 polish and worked it on a 2x2 ft panel at speed setting 2 on my da polisher. The results removed most of the light hologram scratches. There was still some ultra light hazing in certain areas due to soft paint. So I finished up with a megs 3 inch black waxing pad, 4 small dots of 210 to remove any haze left before wiping the panels clean and adding a coating.

These worked amazing with a little bit of Meguiar's compound on my Griot's 3" backing plate for my DA polisher. They're a little bigger (probably a 3.5" pad, so they extend past the backing plate a bit, but they still worked great. With a little bit of compound, these made quick work of clearing up hazy headlights that foam pads wouldn't touch. When it came time to clean them, they were extremely easy to clean too. A little bit of Dawn and the compound came out without any leftover color or residue in the pad. Definitely will be using these again and again when i need to quickly level some defects.

Very good quality

It does good but I cant fell or tell a difference between the cutting and finishing pads. They clean out easily but expect some fraying on the edges.

For the Cyclo backing pad the 3 inch meguiars microfiber pad could have been 1/8 bigger and it would have been perfect. I have a old model 5 Cyclo with no speed control so the O.P.M. speed was a little slower than meguiars recommended. That being said the Cyclo with the 3 inch microfiber pads cut amazingly using only ultimate compound. It cut a lotbetter than my dual action 5 inch orange chemical guys hex logic. Brush the pad to stand up the fiber after every 2 foot by 2 foot section you work.

They work good.
