They did arrive with a tear in the outer package that went through a couple of the covers. Despite that, these are quite thick/heavy duty plastic, much like a heavy duty (not the cheapo kind) rain poncho and the plastic is not at all see through. The plastic is slightly textured, so I can see how they would help resist slippage (I haven't tried them out yet). I was worried that they might not fit over my super clunky women's size 9 winter boots, but as you can see they fit fine (up and around, halfway up on the boot and not just covering the sole) and could fit even larger sizes. All in all, I'm pleased so far and am interested to see how non-slip they are. I purchased them to wear into clients' homes so I don't have to take off/put on my boots repeatedly, so they'll need to hold in all the wet and mud on my boots and I'm confident that they will be able to do that.

I like how thick and waterproof material this is... im not sure about how non-slip this can be on a wood floor, but I haven't tried it yet, so not sure...Im only giving four stars cause it came opened and looks like someone deliberately cut the bag to take one bundle out...how cruel.To add more about the product..This is not the mesh type nor the thin ones used at the hospital, this is more like used in the construction site type of material and thickness, nice purchase...except I didn't get all of what I paid for!!Update 11/06/2018This guys are great! I didnt even make a claim or complaint but they've sent me a whole new pack(unopened), even the opened package was not their fault, cause Amazon prepares and ships them out, but for them to take care of the matters from their end is seriously appreciated in customer service! Definately will recommend and purchase again!Product is much much better quality than those thin see through gauz type of shoe covers, you can do projects like painting, construction, moving and etc. I got these for my new house and all the movers, technicians and everyone coming in to set-up the house to put these on while walKing around my wood floor and clean treated carpets

These are better and more durable than the paper booties that let dirt through.

I would only recommend these for over-the-shoe protection. The material is a smooth, nonporous plastic. No treads, so can be slippery on smooth surfaces.My foot condition often requires disposable slippers for showering. Because these are nonporous, they fill up with water like a balloon.Though sturdy, the elastic bands on a couple of these were separated, right out of the box.Also, shipping was very slow.The brand I had been purchasing on Amazon prior was far superior and with super-fast delivery. Unfortunately, when I last reordered, both the distributor name and product had changed. Item was thinner and delivery took longer.

These are waterproof and durable. Bought one of those water resistant kind that I have no idea how they say that when my tee shirt is just as resistant as they are. These live up to what they say in the ad. do not fool around with the others if you have any reason to use the covers where there is any moisture around. Use my as a bowling ball cover when you have to use the facilities. Do not want a wet shoe and well putting the permanent kind back in my bag after walking on a a dirty bathroom floor is well disgusting. With these just toss them out.

This product really is the best that I have found to protect my shoes outdoors. i have three dogs, and as you can imagine, there is lots of cleaning up to do. We keep our yard clean, but inevitably there is always the stray waste that gets overlooked. To protect my shoes from getting the offending "dirt" on my shoes, the shoes covers are essential. They are definitely waterproof and sturdy. If they don't get dirty, I can wear the same pair for about 5 days before they tear on the bottom. These are a good choice for wearing outdoors. They are also good to protecting your floors if you use them inside only.

After reading all the rave reviews and all the claims about "no ripping or tearing" , honestly I have not found these to be any better than the others I've tried. After one day of use over work boots they have holes and tears. They really don't feel any thicker or different than any other bootie I've ever worn.

I no longer have to take my shoes when I come in from cutting grass and my wife has to spend a half hour cleaning out the clumped grass out of my shoes. I can even use these covers a second and third time. What a great convenience. I will be ordering more of these baby's ;-) By the way, the customer service is great and shipped right on time. The price is so reasonable too. I would recommend these highly. You will not be disappointed! GREAT PRODUCT/GREAT SELLER.
