The Berenstain Bears and the Bad Influence

LOVE the Berenstain Bear's books. Slowly building up our collection. Classic stories are the best. Gives great examples of life lessons and my kid loves the pictures and the characters. Great books to read to little ones at bedtime.

Love berenstain bears, old school books that are educational and also teach basic empathy. They teach a little bit of self defense in this book, so read to little ones with caution and make sure to explain everything so they understand.

disappointment, and emotional demolition. No yelling. Just a calm monologue that rewires Sister’s entire life trajectory. Would recommend if you're looking to teach your kids about peer pressure, self-respect, or how to disappoint your mom so efficiently it echoes across species. Bonus points for seeing Papa Bear quietly tiptoe out of parenting range. Again.

I'm a die hard BB fan and my 6 year old has all my 30 year old books from my childhood. He's in K this year and this book is a great gateway for a conversation on kids in his class and bad influences. We really like it, and the morale of the story seems to make sense to him so it's a great way to reiterate a strong message without a lecture from boring parents:)

Love these books that always have a good moral story. Grandkids love them too.

I was hoping to teach my child a lesson about not falling under the influence of others. Instead this story "SPOILER ALERT" places blame evenly between the cubs involved by showing that they were a bad influence on each other. After thinking more about it, I believe that the Berenstein Bears book "Double-Dare" should relay the message I was hoping for.

Purchasing Berenstein bear books was the end-of-the-year gift. I gave me second grade students. This was one of them and they loved it.

I got this book for my daughter who has practically read all of the Berenstain Bears series. We started off by reading the books to her and she has been hooked ever since. At 5 1/2, she can now read most of the Berenstain Bears books. I ordered this book and others from Amazon because I couldn't find them anywhere else, including the libraries and bookstores. I definitely recommend this and other Berenstain Bears books.

They are a classic. I read them to my children & now he is reading them to his child. I highly recommend.

Another lovely book about the Berenstein Bears as they learn how to cope with the bumps in the path of life. I really love these books and enjoy reading them even before my grand children have arrived! The children love them (age 4-7) reading them or listening to the story. The books are great for spontaneous discussion too.

Our kids love this story. The adventure that sister goes on with her new friend keeps them interested for the whole story. The ending with the phone calls back and forth are a little redundant and annoying to read, but all in all the story is fun!

Like all Bernstein Bears book, good read and excellent learning opportunities.
