This is the best case I’ve had in a while. I’ve always loved the look of the original 2G iphone, and for that I want to thank you for making this BEAUTIFUL CASE. The feel of the case is fantastic. It’s sturdy and very good quality. I’m honestly ordering a second one because I’m obsessed with it. It also adds the rounded corner feel to your iphone (like the original 2G) except not as thick lol. I’ve had this for 2 days now and I gotta say it’s fantastic. I was worried that the rubber wiuld maybe pick up lint and I can truthfully say it doesn’t. Seriously my favorite iphone case in years.

Generally love elaborate products but this was way to snug on a brand new 16e and felt like it was not fitting right. Checked all the boxes for look and functionality otherwise. Other elago products are top notch.

Do I recommend this case for it's unique nostalgia? Yes, especially since there's not a lot of compromises; let me explain. This is a two-part case, a solid plastic top and outer shell, with a softer material underneath that is intentionally exposed on the bottom portion to mimic the legacy iPhone look. Thankfully, this case does a good job at getting most of the way there, even having faux cutouts and buttons for where the legacy iPhone ports & buttons used to be. That aside, it does support MagSafe as well, but only the upper circular magnetic array, as the alignment magnet isn't present. I haven't found this to be an issue in any capacity just yet, aside from having to manually align and straighten a magnetic stand. All things considered, it's a well-built case, and make some time and force to install onto your iPhone 16e, but for what it's trying to accomplish, I think it does a great job.

The 16e doesn't come magsafe compatible. You need to add a case to allow it to work with anything other than a wireless charging pad. This case allows magsafe accessories to work with it. The magnetic pull of my wallet, and bedside charger is great. It works as well as my 15 pro max. The phone stays on the charger with no fear of it falling down and stopping the charging process during the night. The case is a very snug fit. I tried taking off the metal back casing first and fitting the silicone insert, but wasn't able to get the aluminum case back on. It took some persuasion, but the phone fit in the case without bending or breaking the metal or continually pressing buttons. The case provides more of a lip above the screen than other cases I've used. It's not in the way, but it is noticeable. The buttons work as well as any other silicone insert allow. You lose some of the tactile feedback, but they're small buttons anyway. The camera lens sits below the edge of the case so when dropping on a flat surface, I don't have to worry about my lens getting cracked. I'd trust my 5 year old to walk around the house with my phone in this case. At $20 this is a stylish case with throwback look and provides all the protection I want in a phone case. The aluminum will dent if dropped, but the silicone keeps the phone safe.

Classic look with hidden gem references! The “ elago Magnetic Original 2G Case Compatible with iPhone 16e Case 2025, Precise Camera Cutouts, Strong Magnetism, Full Body Protective Cover, Shockproof, (Silver/Black)” has a “headphone jack”, “sim card tray”, and “8GB” of memory on the back design. The two toned case is nice. It fits the phone snuggly, but there’s a thing to it. Its not supposed to be split apart then put onto your phone. Just slide the two pieces combined onto your phone, rather than trying to put the rubber case then plastic shell. Quality and Overall: Another absolutely beautiful and amazing case with a retro (?) through back to one of the first iPhones back in 2005s time. It offers great protection and a lip on the front glass area. It also has a nice feel to it and wont slip from your hands. I like the magsafe embedded inside, and you cant even see it or tell. It makes a statement of old school cool designs, and really enjoy having a modern update.

I have a soft spot for the original iPhone when it came out in 2007. Back then, the iPhone was an instant conversation piece, so when I saw this retro case for iPhone 16e, I had to grab it. The case is fairly well done; it largely resembles the color combo of the original iPhone and even has the mock up of the original markings of the 8GB iPhone on the back. They even have a mock up of the original SIM card slot on the top. The case looks good and provides adequate protection all around and even the buttons are covered and look like the originals. If there's any downside to the case, it's that the silver paint is very slippery and if you're not careful , it'll slide right out of your hand. Besides that, it's a really neat case for those of us sentimental types.

It’s good and I love elation products but It’s already scratched. Like it’s so easily scratched that it’s been a couple of hours since it got it and it already is….. and I think it’s due to the MagSafe products but I am pretty upset. And it wasn’t even that cheap. And the magnets are not strong

Better than expected. Easy to fit and remove. Handy having the built in MagSafe magnets. Very strong.
