Great item for consistently slicing homemade bread. I had a lot of issues with a regular bread knife and was wishing for even slices, so I purchased this bread slicer to solve that. The hand crank is smooth and squeaks a little but that can be fixed. Best for breads with a harder crust but still works really well with softer bread like sandwich loaves. Not much assembly aside from attaching the hand crank to the main component. Also much smaller than I thought it would be. Perfect size for at-home storage. Cleaning wise, I just make sure to slice bread when it's no longer hot and the crumb does not stick to blade. Highly recommend! Looks good, too!

I love this thing. I make sourdough and so I was getting sick of my own uneven slices. This thing cuts straight even slices, varying thickness. Easy to adjust, prices we good, it's sturdy and durable. There are some concerns with safety, because you can get cut if you aren't paying attention while pushing the bread through, but if you're careful you're good.

Nice product that works beautifully! Cuts through my homemade sourdough bread effortlessly. The suction cups hold tightly on my natural stone countertop. I also like that the one I bought is a pure white (most others I saw were cream) and does not have ugly print on the side with the brand name, unlike others I saw when shopping, so it looks good on the counter. I definitely recommend the product.

I have searched for a bread slicer for my bread for years. I have found some good products, but nothing that really works on artesian bread. Sandwich bread, I've found several options. Hard crusted boules? Nothing. This cuts through them like butter. Thin slices for sandwiches, thick for toast. Whatever you want, without any extensive sawing. Downside? The suction cups to hold it to the counter don't work. Plan on getting clamps to hold it in place. Other than the failure of the suction cups, I'd give it a five.

I got this for my Mother in law as a gift because she love's making sour dough bread. She told me it has made it so much easier and it cuts great slices than using a traditional bread knife. Even clean cuts with adjustable thickness. She has loved it and the blade is super sharp. The suction pucks on the bottom also make it so easy to use without it moving around.

Works well, your bread definitely matters! Practice makes it really consistent. Wait for it to cool down complete, overnight if possible. Clean the suction cups regularly as crumbs can get in the way. My only suggestion would be to add a crumb catcher on the bottom.

This is dangerous. The blade is unprotected and could slice the top off your finger as you’re pushing in the loaf. I got a deep cut on the top of my thumb the second time I used it. I threw it out.

Do not look any further you have found what you’re looking for. This bread slicer is amazing. Prior to having this slicer, I could not slice my bread thin enough to make sandwiches or make even slices. I tried the other bread slicers with a slots and they just did not do the job. This machine right here is amazing. Yes I know. I said it twice because it is amazing and the suction cups work perfectly. If you bake your bread or you buy whole bread, You have to have this in your kitchen.

Great cutter! Super good for someone wanting to have their bread cut evenly. Cut a cheddar jalapeño loaf, and it had no problem. The blade is nice and sharp definitely recommend.

Sei que avaliar como “chegou rápido” não é tão útil, mas como é um produto importado devo dizer que… chegou rápido! E muito bem embalado! O cortador é maravilhoso, corta todo tipo de pão, desde os mais macios (tipo pão de forma), até o sourdough (que foi o motivo da minha compra) sem chorar! Simplesmente amei a compra!

I bought this with a bit of skepticism after reading the reviews. But Amazon returns are easy, so I grabbed the cheapest one I could find and figured I’d try it. I’m honestly impressed - it’s been awesome so far and none of the bad review stuff has happened for me. The suction cups hold solid, it doesn’t slide around, and it cuts really clean. Only minor issue: the thickness knob was shifting a bit when the loaf pushed against it, so each slice was getting slightly thicker. I tightened it down and it’s been fine ever since. Slices come out smooth, it doesn’t squish the bread, and it cuts through my sourdough crust no problem. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I’m settling on 4. The little guide also keeps the loaf from catching the handle. You can see it in the video.
