My son will be starting kindergarten next semester, and we were looking for a learning tablet to help her build a strong foundation before school starts. The AI Kids Tablet (TalPad T100 with Keyboard) has been absolutely amazing! It comes loaded with 50,000+ educational resources that cover ELA, math, ABCs, phonics, reading, vocabulary, and STEM—everything a young learner needs. The AI tutor feature is a game-changer. It feels like having a personal teacher who is always patient and engaging. The keyboard is great for practicing typing and early computer skills. The built-in scanner makes it fun and interactive—my child loves scanning his books and worksheets to learn more. Content ranges from PreK to 6th grade, so this tablet will grow with him for years. He’s excited to "play school" every day now, and I feel confident he’ll be more prepared when kindergarten begins.

In terms of functionality, if it were just a regular tablet, I’d probably give it 4 stars. But since it’s a kids’ tablet, the software matters way more than the hardware for my family. Luckily, as a kids’ tablet, it totally hits the mark for us. Features like screen time monitoring, the eye protection mode, and even games that help kids practice math are all super useful. If you’re looking for an educational tablet, this should definitely be your first pick! Five stars！

The keyboard that came with the tablet clearly does not fit which doesnt even matter because the keyboard doesnt connect to the tablet. 300$ i will never see again. 1 star because my son can use the tablet. But very disgusted overall

So far our daughter has LOVED this tablet! Hardware wise it is durable and the included case is very nice. Battery life has not been a concern as it lasts long. The matte screen is actually great and I’m jealous that more handheld devices go with glossy, since the matte is much better for eyes (especially kids)! Software wise the pad comes with a good mix of pre-installed apps. The one we were most impressed with is the book scanner, since it works much better than you would expect. Because of the mirror + book scanner my daughter has been able to read books that normally she would get frustrated and give up on because there are too many words she didn’t know. She’s able to tap the words she has trouble with and device immediately scans and reads it. The overarching character creation and rewards for exploring/using the pre-built apps are a nice plus. Since at it’s core this is an Android tablet, you can do anything with it that you could with a normal Android tablet, so the things you can do with this device are limitless. And with the focus on learning and good specs/screen, and reasonable price point, we’ve been very happy with our purchase and I’m sure we’ll be using this for years!

Ideally, this is the best tablet for kids if all functions are working. Unfortunately, Snaplearn and Snaplens features are not working. I'm not sure if I did not set it up properly, so I communicated with the company to see if I need any other things to setup. They said it automatically activates as soon as I turn it on. Unfortunately, I can't use the feature I want to test most, which is Snap Learn. I waited for several minutes for the answer to come out, but to no avail. It has other good features though. It has good parental control, learning apps, and ebooks. They can improve the casing so it would be more kid-proof. The mirror is used to flip the paper for scanning but I think this can be removed and do it through the software. It gets in the way most of the time, and it has a great risk of being torn apart or damaged. Weight is also an issue as it is a little heavy... it has good connectivity. Setup is okay but does not activate all functionality.

It all started because my 5 year old kept asking to “do homework” like her big brother. We got this tablet mainly for her to practice reading and math, and it turned out to be even more useful than I expected. She can now do basic addition and subtraction with fun little quizzes, and she loves the reading part where the tablet actually listens to her and gives feedback on her pronunciation. The voice is clear, very natural American English. Her older brother, who’s going into 4th grade, ended up using it too. There’s grade level content like reading comprehension, spelling, and math problems that keep him engaged. Besides the built in learning tools, it also allows regular apps, so it’s flexible depending on what we want to add. The screen is crisp, and the little keyboard that came with it makes it feel like a mini laptop and the battery lasts long, we charge it once and it easily runs for several days. It’s been genuinely useful for both kids.
